However, can the manager please tell the cashiers to remind everyone that each register has a line! Or perhaps you could put a sign? I used to go to the one in Union (which is much busier) but the cashiers always made announcements that each register had a line. Thank you.”

“They’re not as bad as the other facilities go for live loading however they go mainly by appointment time. You can check in as early as you like but don’t expect them to call you early as it is a super busy place. Once they get to you, you’re fully loaded with 30 minutes or less.”
“So I got here this morning around 2 just testing my luck. The guard told me the earliest you can began checking in is 5:30 but then he back tracked and said 4:30, I figured I’d just park anyways for the night since I could squeeze in a split before my appointment time. You park outside gate walk up to guardhouse, turn in paperwork they give you a call when they have a door for you which didn’t take long 15 minutes or so. Grab paperwork along gatepass, pull in, walk to receiving at the end of the building, there is a doorbell. They text you for lumper and call once paperwork is ready, return gate pass and you’re ready. All in all was 2 hours. Seems like they allow one truck infront of there gate to park. The guard told me it was fine to park along the street, if you know what you’re doing you can accommodate a good 5 maybe 6 trucks without blocking traffic. Road doesn’t get filled up atleast from what I’ve noticed so you can come down and wait till your appointment if you want. Bathroom inside the facility not the best, it’s a shared locker room with their employees. Parking lot is maneuverable watch out coming in they have a bit of a tight semi-blind corner and the gate only accommodates one truck, so take it easy. 5 MPH sign posted on premises.”
“In the passage of my travels, with family, we were in the Piscataway, NJ vicinity and decided to patronize Walmart. This location has good realistic prices for groceries and household items which is our primary purpose. Customer service is non-existent, as standard, to most Walmart locations.This location is a long-haul trek by car coming yonder and far as we are NYC residents.”

Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
