“The store is usually well-stocked and employees are continually restocking the shelves. Only once in a while does the store not have an item that I need.
If you can avoid it, don't go on the weekends. The lines are long and, sometimes, they don't have enough employees at the register.”
“Produce is always fresh, so many unique finds and great prices! The store is very small so when it’s busy, it can get feel very overcrowded. That’s the only downside but the staff here are always so friendly and the store is always clean and organized. This is hands down my favorite store for groceries!”

“Aldi has to be explored. Often go here before I go to the supermarket because the savings are excellent. Produce is great, chips and cookies can be good or not that great. Big savings on everyday stuff. Some items I love are seasonal or not in stock for large parts of the year, then suddenly they are again. Example-cocktail sauce all winter long but not in the summer during fresh shrimp season.”
“This is our go to for all of our bengali shopping. We been coming here pretty much from the time they opened. The prices are high but where isn't it? Everything has gone up everywhere and you can't expect hamtramck prices because there paying the Sterling Heights prices! I can understand 50 cents or even a dollar but nothing is more than that or my wife and I wouldn't be shopping here. Their customer service is also really good. We even get the hot food from time and their fried chicken and tandoori chicken is excellent.”

“Every time I'm in NJ, I stop here to load up on grocery supplies. I would have given 5 stars, but I purchased some Iranian saffron for $7.00. I should have known better, but when I questioned the cashier, "Oh yes, yes, it's saffron from Iran." NOT!”

“I love shopping at this supermarket! Although it's smaller than other Aldi, I find it makes everything easier to find, and the store is always clean and organized. The fruits and vegetables are consistently fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful. What truly stands out, though, is the sense of community here—I've witnessed so many random acts of kindness between customers during my visits.”
“The staff were helpful and polite. They sell live chickens, ducks, rabbits, whole pigs, sheep, and cows. A rooster costs $37. Having cash on hand is favorable, but do not worry; there's an ATM that charges a $2.50 surcharge. You are given the option to pick the size of the animal you want and they'll clean it and cut it to the size of your choice.”

“Acme is my go to for IRL grocery shopping. The staff is always courteous and helpful.
There is never a huge crowd of people there, checkout is fast which makes shopping there convenient, quick in & out for a grocery store.
Plus there's constant savings, weekly sales, app scan discounts & more. Also, Acme markets give back to the local community, as I want to support more than national/corporate businesses”
“October 27 at 7:00. Went to Foleys for Cigarettes and Lottery and was informed by Customer Service that the Lottery closes at 7:15 however it was only 7:00..I am fine with Policies however be consistent with your store rules. I am a regular customer for Lottery and Grocery's and do not appreciate having to make another trip to another store since I was turned away due to the staffs neglect.
For clarification:
The employee Posted the Lottery Closed Sign when I arrived at 7:00 where I asked whether it was open and she responded no.

“Great selection of close out deals. They have an insiders card which gives great discounts. It is easy to miss but is in part of the old Walmart space near Best Buy off route 1. The location does close a bit early at 7.”
“I am happy to see that the number of products related to Korea is increasing. When you buy raw oysters, the shells are removed and placed in an ice container. It always stays clean so I feel good every time I go grocery shopping.”

“Excellent customer service! When my first shipment was delivered I noticed that the produce wasn’t fresh enough. This was totally on the shipping company as they didn’t deliver the produce in a timely manner. It was supposed to be “2 day shipping” but unfortunately it took them 5 days to deliver. Upon contacting Basil Grocery, they immediately sent me the same produce with no charge. Unfortunately, the shipment company failed to deliver the produce in a timely manner again. I contacted Basil Grocery and explained them the issue. This time, they used a different company to ship the produce with no extra charge. They took full responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction. They were very quick to respond. I received my produce (Erik / plums) nice and fresh. I highly recommend Basil Grocery.”
“The store is decent and I always enjoyed shopping here up until today. The black lady cashier who was there on 6/16/24 between 2-2:30pm is a complete and utter racist and she was treating customers differently based on their skin color. Unless you were also black (the woman in front of me was and boy was she treated a whole lot differently than me and the Muslim family behind me) you didn’t get a proper greeting let alone spoken to with the any respect at all. Not even a simple “have a nice day”. Completely unacceptable! I will be contacting corporate first thing tomorrow morning to file a complaint!”
“Glad to have healthier options, but their prices, like everywhere else are ridiculous. Way too expensive. A lot of good variety choices, some reasonable, most are not though. The people are nice, the staff is attentive, and I do come when I'm sick to get health supplies. But I just hope they decide to put customers first and drop their prices to a more reasonable amount. Getting healthy shouldn't be pricing people out.”

“Just ran in for a few items that Walmart did not have today and was able to pick up a nice orchid for my wife for Mother’s Day as well. Overall prices are decent at Stop & Shop however, meats and poultry are always higher priced and then they mark down as it gets closer to the expiration, most frustrating if they would just do a better price from the beginning, it would probably move quicker.”
