“okay i love this place! the manasquan location is just as amazing, but two levels ✨ i have never had a bad experience with any of the employees, until yesterday though:( i’m still giving five stars because one bad experience isn’t worth giving less, but i’m hoping the owner can maybe talk to this girl! my friend and i went to try on clothes in the dressing room, with no problem, there was nobody else in the store when we went in the dressing rooms. we were in there for about 10/15 minutes because we had a lot to try on! if i had known someone was waiting i would’ve only tried some stuff on, and then finished after. mind you i wasn’t also able to tell someone was waiting because she wasn’t holding any clothes and was just fidgeting by the register- i assumed she was checking out. the cashier shouted to us “if you guys could hurry it up there’s someone that’s been waiting”. i understand doing your job, but the way she said & the way it came across made me embarrassed and not even want to buy anything. she was very rude to us the whole time, not sure if that’s just her personality, but i heard her being snarky to other customers as well. besides that, the store is always stocked and has such cute stuff! i recommend ?”

“The staff here are so friendly and welcoming! I lost my wallet and they kept it safe till I came back! I was also trying on items and they helped me feel comfortable looking for sizes that would fit me better!”

“This looks like a very nice store and I would love to shop here with my son and my daughter. I understand my son, John is right down the road at 1218 Seventh Avenue in Neptune, NJ , if anyone here at the Madonna location is free could you please help me update my son, John he’s 22 years old and please let him know that I would like to see him and if he wants to move back home with me he can, his name and my daughters name are on the Lease here , this is there permanent address and there mail here is piling up. I stay in touch each week with the President of the United States in Washington, DC asking them to send down there employees here to Jersey to help my kids and I get back together again. The Police/Detective Bureau give me an updated status report occasionally on my son once in a while and I would love to see him , he has been in foster care for a few years but now he’s an adult and he’s free to see me and comeback home , amen”

“Quaint little place, they were closed but the amazing grooming salon owner next door (Here Boy) opened it up for me so i was able to find a few things while having a nice chat with her..
If she sees this, thank you so much for staying a little extra to accommodate me.”

“I had a great experience there! My only comment would be that I tried on a couple things that were not in great shape, with some having tears or missing zippers. These pieces should not have been displayed for purchase. Otherwise, a very nice place with great customer service!”

“Went in to browse. . The gentleman was so nice. I was going through a hard time, and I received food for free. I bought a small coffees mug for a dollar.They do have pretty nice furniture too.”

“Last Friday I had the pleasure of visiting the Restore in Asbury Park. I love the hunt of finding old treasures… Restore is my new favorite spot in town. There is so much to look at and it’s organized!! (I hate when I have to sift through piles!) The staff is so friendly - there is a really fun vibe in the store.I can’t wait to go back!”

“Just went in with my fiancé and was greeted as soon as we walked in and we were asked if we needed any help! Items were beautiful and well priced, well placed in different sections between entertainment, glassware to even an entire Christmas section!! Bought beautiful vintage pottery and wood pieces Goodwood name brand and found a cameo locket and heart locket!Don’t forget to check their jewelry section in front of the counter and there’s a section behind the counter as well (we didn’t get to check it out, but that gives me another reason to go again along with the owner being absolutely amazing to us)!!!”

“This is one of the top best Goodwill stores in New Jersey. There are great finds and there is always something precious. It is a small store compared to other Goodwills. Things are well organized. The majority of the stuff are well priced, however they have increased their price slightly. Staff are friendly.

The negative part is there is this one tall young man who frequently comes to the store daily. He gets everything he wants. He gets cozy and friendly with the main guy who rolls out the cart. He goes back and forth to the store. Sometime he comes with his girlfriend who whisks away everything as he grabs them from the cart. What we notice as frequent shoppers is they don’t put anything out when he is not there and minutes after he returns, the cart starts rolling again. This occurrence happens with only one employee, the black guy who wears a head wrap. When he is not in, the other employees rolls out the goods timely. Management needs to get on that ASAP as shoppers share their frustration with the employee showing favoritism to this person. The donated stuff is for the people to purchase and not for one person to pick and choose what he wants. We often see this buyer stops the employee on his way back and carries out long conversations with him. Management needs to address this issue otherwise this buyer will be the only one buying there.”

“It is a very good store!!! I love the fact of recycling, rejecting things, here's to more stores like this!!! What they should improve is the attention, there are many Latinis and no one speaks Spanish, on the other hand, they should allow more donations to be made!!”
