“To be honest when I saw the 5 star rating with hundreds of reviews…I was VERY skeptical of actually how good this gym was.I started back in July and have really been loving taking classes here! I was initially turned off by the idea of having to take 5 personal training sessions before being allowed to take classes…My thought was, ‘I work out a lot on my own and I’m in shape so why do I need this?’ BUT, I totally get it now! These private training sessions are VITAL to learn proper form, the weights you need, and all the moves which you’ll see in classes thereafter. So this turned out to be extremely helpful!The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable about proper form/technique and all seem like they genuinely enjoy doing what they do.As for the other gym members, they were welcoming and supportive! I felt comfortable while getting adjusted at the beginning.I have been taking classes 2-3 times a week since then. The classes always leave me drenched in sweat, feeling exhausted and exhilarated after!Highly recommend Isabella Fitness to anyone interested in trying it out!”

“Veracity has it all. A great facility with ample equipment, dedicated coaches who will make sure you are getting a safe and solid workout, and a really special community. Having moved to the area a little over a year ago and joining Veracity in that first week, many of my local friends are people I've met at the gym. It's a very welcoming and supportive group where everybody cheers each other on and celebrates milestones whether gym-related or otherwise. Crossfit gets a bad rap as being intense or intimidating and you can make an intense workout if you want but the reality is Veracity has every age from teens to grandparents, all body types, abilities, etc. Coaches are knowledgable on how to modify and tailor every workout to your abilities and your goals so even though the general workout stimulus might be the same, each movement and the level of difficulty can be personalized. There's really something for everybody here, and that's one of the many reasons it is the best gym in Summit.”

“After dropping in at a few other boxes in other states, Canada and China, I have to say that you just gotta appreciate the best coaches here at arrival. Instead of throwing everyone over there and just do it, we work on the form every single class, coaches (and I mean every single one of them) at arrival care a lot about legitmately coaching, are very personable and lovely. I know all those crossfits got 5 stars too, that is because their members haven't tried the best crossfit box (a.k.a. arrival fit) yet.”

“I've been to several CrossFit Gyms all over the nation, and this one is a winner! The top wins for me were their easy to follow sign-up system/ class reservations & the friendliness of the staff and members.It's obvious that the members consider themselves a family, they are genuine, encouraging, and hold one another accountable.I highly recommend this gym to people who are committed to their health and want a fun atmosphere to work out with people of like-minds.Bonus: I especially loved the diversity of the members!”

“This is the best gym I’ve been to. From the employees to the other patrons. The amenities are plentiful, the rules are followed and the place is clean. The weights are never out of place because the people respect the gym and their experience. There’s no random fees every couple months so there’s no surprise charges. Even the teenagers there don’t crowd machines or spend their time making videos flexing in the mirrors (they have a room for that). They also have EVERYTHING you need and some things that you didn’t know you did. Two tufts, saunas, tanning beds, and batting cages. This is the best place to lift.”

“Been going to this gym for about 6 months now. I was referred by a friend who has been a member for many years. There’s not one bad thing to say. The front staff is very nice and pleasant to walk into to, even at 5am. The gym is always clean and somome is always wiping down the machines. I haven’t had much sessions with the trainers, but the 10 sessions I did do with them were great. And the price was reasonable also. They do a great job at the gym. Just wanted to say thank you for a pleasant experience. See you guys in a little bit.”

“I’ve been coming here for a little over a year and it has become my home gym. I’ve been lifting for 4-5 years now and I’ve been to so many gyms but this is by far my most favorite. This gym is great for social/non social people & they have great machine that you won’t find at commercial gyms. Personally I enjoy working out and looking up at all of the pictures/paintings of the pros they have on the wall; it’s a reminder to go harder. Overall the best gym in the area for sure.”

“I’ve been working with Dave at Two Wolves for nearly two years. My strength, endurance and overall fitness level have increased substantially since joining. Small group training is offered, as close to personal training as you can get, but with a reasonable monthly membership cost. Workouts are varied and effective. All members are friendly and encouraging.”

“Came to NJ to visit family and I’m in currently in comp prep. I needed a place I could go to workout and I found Adelante. Staff was extremely professional, facility is very clean, organized and has everything someone would need. Members were also very respectful and made you feel at home. Highly recommend anyone that’s out of state visiting or even instate looking to get into powerlifting or working out to visit. I’ll see them again next time I’m in town. “I just started at Studio 509 about a month ago, and it has truly been the biggest highlight of this year. I have absolutely no dance experience so I was naturally a little (okay, very) intimidated to start, but the community -(the other dancers and studio owners) at Studio 509 is so unbelievably supportive and encouraging--they make it easy to be okay with making mistakes and embracing the learning process. I especially love Dance Fusion and the challenge of learning beautiful routines, and Guada is just an absolute incredible instructor. All the studio members I've talked to said they've been attending for years, and I totally get it. I immediately bought a permanent membership after my 3 week trial :) And finally, it's been so, so, so inspiring watching so many talented dancers. Honestly that's also one of my favorite parts and is great encouragement to keep trying. If you're questioning attending this studio, just do it. The improvement it's had on my mental health and feeling of a sense of community has grown exponentially since attending.”

“Orange Theory is the only workout I have consistently attended since high school sports. Even when I have fallen off the habit train, I then have been able to get back into it thanks to the community of people around the studio and also; there's so much juicy workout data and i want to keep making that data grow! it's incredibly motivating to see the stats build over time; almost like how we look at stats of sports players in fantasy football except it's you, it's real life. it's you getting better, stronger, faster, harder. I can't recommend it enough. my wife just joined and did her second class and now we have another hobby we can do together and keep ourselves even more accountable, and loose weight, get into shape or hikes and ski trips, and get stamina for ... other parts of married life too. “I recently had the opportunity for a session with Hiroshi Powell, professional trainer and owner. He educated me to the proper, safest and most effective way to utilize my workouts. He took the time to make sure I understood why and how I should be training to achieve the results I want. I am in my 60’s, started working out on my own since last Oct, managed to get a serious torn muscle. I only wish I found him sooner..I learned so much and look forward to my next session. “Aside from being an amazing place to reach new heights physically, KOA's best quality is that is strives to create a positive atmosphere for all of its members.There are no egos, and everyone (coaches and fellow athletes included) are as happy for you as they are for themselves. There is a special bond that forms from doing workouts together, that I wouldn't of ever thought was possible.Whether you're a former athlete trying to get back into it, an elite athlete trying to reach the next level, a casual gym goer, or an athletic novice like I was, this is the place for you.Koa will push you to be the best you can, and this is not only physically. They teach you to be mentally tough and to keep striving to improve. There is a mental toughness, determination, and aggression that you need to be able to lift a bar over your head. I found myself unknowingly taking the same confidence into other every day things in my life. You learn that things you never thought were possible, are very possible if you put a plan together and execute it.When I started, I could barely lift the bar over my head, couldn't do a pullup, and was out of breath doing burpees within seconds. However, the community never let me feel down, and kept encouraging me. It would of been very easy to stop, but KOA has an atmosphere where you want to keep getting better, even when you are struggling... I really felt awful physically, but emotionally the support I got far outweighed it.. This pushed me, and others to keep going.I stayed with it, and It's amazing how 3 years later to see how far I've come. I've gone from not even knowing how to squat to squatting nearly 400lbs. I couldn't do a pullup, but now can grab the rings and pull off some muscle ups... Somehow I can even throw up over 150% of my bodyweight over my head... The program just works!If there is a negative, it's that this place has somehow created a magic atmosphere and unbelievable positive energy that makes you think you can do anything if you put a plan together and execute it..The confidence I gained from KOA made me believe that I could run the NYC Marathon, and a 70.3 Ironman Race... And somehow I did them both... If not for everything KOA has taught me, then I don't think any of these would of even been thoughts in my wildest dreams...The constant motivation to get better never ends no matter where you are... Right now, I'm signed up for a 140.6 Mile Ironman Race in July, and because of KOA I'm crazy enough to know I can do it...Join, and never look back!Update, 8 years later, still all good. Since that time, I've done 5 full distance Ironmans. Definitely the best gym you can find.”
