“The Meadow Wood truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be. From the planning process through the day of our wedding, we felt so well taken care of.
I absolutely loved working with Brielle throughout the planning process. She was so sweet, helpful, and always made me feel comfortable and excited about our day.
On our wedding day, I worked with Carolina and Ronnie, and I cannot say enough amazing things about them. They truly went above and beyond for me. Carolina did not leave my side all day and was constantly making sure I had everything I needed. My bridesmaids were even raving about how incredible and helpful she was! She made me feel so taken care of and allowed me to actually relax and enjoy the day.
Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. I will admit that I was a little nervous leading up to the wedding because I had come across some negative reviews online, but my experience could not have been more different. Our day went perfectly, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience.

From the very beginning, the entire staff was accommodating, attentive, and always willing to answer any questions or accommodate special requests. The food was absolutely delicious, and we received countless compliments from our guests about both the cuisine and the cocktail hour.

One feature everyone especially loved was the abundance of seating throughout the rooms during cocktail hour, which created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and mingle.

“10/10 experience. Beautiful hotel, amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff, and great food and drinks. We enjoyed our stay so much that this will definitely become our new monthly getaway spot.

A special shout out to Alex and Lynnell, who truly made our experience exceptional. They took care of us during lunch and again later for our nightcap drinks until midnight, and their service was absolutely top tier. They were attentive, welcoming, personable, and made sure we had an amazing time from start to finish.

It’s rare to come across hospitality that genuinely stands out, but both of them went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. They are a huge reason we’re already looking forward to coming back.

“We had a wonderful time for our son's coming-of-age celebration. The setup is wonderful - the room looks out over the golf course which provides spectacular views. They help you arrange everything you need and are very thoughtful and flexible in their engagement. Maggie was an absolutely terrific partner and we could not recommend this place more strongly! “Saw Allison Russell perform here and was blown away by both the venue itself and the people who run it. The concert was held picnic style; we brought wine and lawn chairs. It felt like the NJ version of Stars Hollow.

“I was a vendor here (Betty Cakes Barkery Bites) at the Holiday Food and Craft Festival sponsored by Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter back in December and I had a wonderful experience! The space was big and spacious, bathrooms were clean and easily accessible and the location was perfect for hosting such an event!”

“Fine stay at the Madison. Travelled with two little kids and the hotel staff removed some furniture from our room to accommodate their travel cribs/SlumberPods. The big disappointment was that the pool no longer exists! We had been hyping up the pool with our kids, packed all the pool gear, etc. Big let down. They really need to update the website.”

“Historic, charming, and quaint hotel in the center of Bernardsville, close to a number of restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant, the Red Horse, was quite good. Cute bar area, too. I enjoyed a lovely dinner there on my first night. Breakfasts at the Bernards Cafe and the Coffee Shop were both really good. Hotel room was pretty clean but bathroom was tight on space, mainly due to a lovely but too large sink that stuck out too far and made navigating to the toilet and shower a little awkward, and I'm average sized. Bed was comfortable. Parking can be limited in the hotel lot but you can park for free overnight across the street at the NJ Transit Bernardsville train station. Comfortable bed. Note: the front desk controls the thermostat in the room. But they were very obliging with adjusting the temperature in the room when needed. I'd stay here again.”

“Laura at the front desk was terrific in accomadting my request and even delivered extra linens to the room personally. There was a rush of check-ins but she remained calm and made certain every one was taken care of in the order they arrived. She has excellent hospitality customer skills. “Likes: Room had a full-sized refrigerator with a freezer section. Excellent location, close to supermarkets and restaurants, 5 minutes from downtown Morristown. Close to I-287 and I-80, ~35 minutes to EWR. Decent price. Good Wi-Fi (not always a given).

Dislikes: Building and room showed some age. Not all lights in the parking lot were working. Front desk was vacant more than once.”

“WENT TO A CONVENTION THERE.IT WAS A PERFECT SIZE PLACE FOR ALL THE ACTIVITIES GOING ON THERE.DID NOT STAY THERE.IT IS VERY NICE AND CLEAN AND THEY HAVE A OUTSIDE AREA WITH A NICE FIREPLACE.WOULD STAY THERE IF I NEEDED TOO.GOOD FOOD IN THE RESTAURANT PUP IN THE LOBBY.REASONABLY PRICED.CHECK THIS PLACE OUT FOR 😃 SURE.”

“Overall this is a very nice hotel at a great price. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. No issue with renovations or noise at all. They are still doing some work but it appears to be mostly completed. Room was good size and had fridge and microwave. Breakfast appears basic, I only had yogurt and juice machine was not working, but other guests were eating breakfast so I truly cannot comment on how it was. Overall I would recommend this hotel.”

“Came to town for a convention. Accidentally booked my room for the wrong days. Staff was very helpful in correcting the mistake. Check in: smooth. Room: spotless. Parking: plentiful. Checkout: quick and easy.
The gym is very minimal, but in a practical sense. Free weights, treadmills, ellipticals. Everything you need to get a good workout in. Cant rate the breakfast because I slept in and missed it ?‍♂️

Tucked away off of Route 10 and minutes away from food and shopping, Hyatt House is a quiet hotel with a beautiful pool, spacious rooms, and a dedicated staff.

Heather checked us in and Erica checked us out. Both were incredibly kind and professional. Heather is remarkably attentive when it comes to guest's needs.

Our room's cleanliness was absolutely stellar. With the small kitchen, dining room area, living area, separate bedroom, and large bathroom, my girlfriend and I could have lived there.

We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.”

No. But the grounds are genuinely beautiful, and the value is unbeatable. If you're looking for a quick, affordable weekend getaway right in the NY/NJ area, this is the spot. Even the standard room rates are incredibly reasonably priced before you even get to any upgrades.
​A massive shoutout to Ashley and Olivia at the front desk. Even with a few operational hotel issues happening in the background during my stay, they went completely above and beyond. They are easily the most accommodating, professional, and genuinely helpful front desk team I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. Thanks to them, I scored a beautiful corner king suite upgrade. The room was phenomenal, and the shower was absolutely top-tier. But the real star was the Serenity bed—unbelievably comfortable. The staff even humored me by sending up four extra pillows so I could build an absolute pillow fortress.
​I’ve seen a few complaints online about the breakfast, and honestly, those people must be out of their minds. It is on par with the best hotel breakfasts across the nation. The French toast was absolutely slamming, and the orange juice was fresh and ice-cold. But the real standout was the fresh fruit—cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon. It was incredibly fresh and delicious, which is a rarity for a hotel buffet. I probably ate pounds of it alone.
​The property amenities hit the mark, too. We had a blast hanging out in the pools, and on the sly, we even did a little fishing right out front. The staff was totally cool with it and honestly shocked to find out there were actually fish out there. Fun was had by all.
