Despite the odd hours on a holiday they took their time and explained everything in detail. Our dog is already feeling better thanks to them. Can’t recommend them enough for emergency care.

21 US-206, RaritanEarly morning last Friday I ended up at AnimERge after I found my cat Anthony crying and collapsed on the floor. I knew it wasn't going to be good news but I was immediately comforted by the front desk staff on call that he would be taken care of and made comfortable during the exam. Dr. Barbara Guy, the vet on call that morning, examined him and spoke with me afterward. She didnt have good news for me, but she explained all of our options clearly and in a very caring and calm way. She and the front desk staff handled Anthony with such love and care during our whole visit and his passing was peaceful and respectful. I have had many pets and it is never easy to make the decision to help them pass when they are suffering, but after Dr. Guy's diagnosis, I knew it was the right thing to do.
After returning home from work Monday morning, I was so pleasantly surprised to receive a very heartfelt card from Dr. Guy in the mail. It was completely unexpected and very kind and it really made my day.
If you are ever in need of emergency care for your pet, I highly recommend AnimERge. Hopefully I don't need their services again soon, but I am comforted in knowing they are there if I do need them for my other pets!
