“What a treat it was to stumble upon the Church of Sweden and its basement cafe and gift shop. It was fun to shop among all the great Swedish products and enjoy some saffron buns and Glogg. The staff were wonderfully helpful in selecting just the right gifts and food. We will return again some day to see the church that was under renovation during our visit in Nov 2023. We suggest some bigger/better signage, as it was a stroke of luck that we noticed the Swedish flag and turned down the street to see why it was there.”

“I've been to this church for 2 years now and honestly, I would love to thank my friend for introduce me to this church. It's very open, friendly and positive in this church. The priests like father Eric is charismatic and funny. Even if you can't make it to church, they also do a livestream. The mass on Sunday's are on 10am, 12pm(Spanish) and 5pm. It's very convenient too! The choir has many positivity and love towards the music since they are professional singers. That shows how much passion they have for the church, god and the community. They are also LGBTQ+ friendly too which is also great! The church made me feel motivated about the faith itself and I definitely recommend coming here!”

“Saint Paul's parish is one of the most beautiful churches in Clifton New Jersey. And one of the oldest parishes in Clifton. Saint Paul's parish has been my church for many years, and my ancestors who joined the parish in the early 1930s. All is welcome there, and all is accepted. This church is full of love, hope, and greatest.”

“I hadn't been to a church in many years but a friend invited me. This place felt like a warm community that serves the local JC community. I loved that I saw a man with green hair in the choir and it also seemed like people who identify as LGBTQ+ felt welcomed here which is a large reason why I no longer went to church. There was a short sermon and worship songs but the service doesn't drag on too long.”

“Historically significant church as the first Polish church in New Jersey. The current church was erected between 1892 and 1894, designed by architect Louis H. Giele (1861-1932) in Victorian Gothic style. The architect was a German-American, born as Ludwig Heinrich Giele in Hanover, Germany, where coincidentally I spent most of my childhood.”

“Saints Peter & Paul is a welcoming and joy-filled parish community in the heart of Hoboken. You will find that it's a place that offers spiritual solace to both its parishioners as well as to those who may just be visiting. Msgr. Michael, as well as Msgr. Mahoney, are kind and gracious stewards of the faith for this community. The parish office is a joy to deal with, and their music ministry is outstanding!”

“A very welcoming church, full of very humble, pious people. The best thing about this church is: it has a Catholic Mass on Sunday nights at 7:00 pm. Perfect for me and many others. One of my favorite Roman Catholic Churches in Jersey City!”

“Went to see my brothers play with The Kings College at the Salvation Army Theater. The venue was very nice and clean. The only complaint is the bathrooms are located in the basement relatively far away from the auditorium.”

“Throughout my life I attended different Catholic Churches but in this place I found the true meaning of the Eucharist, which is to feed the soul and leave with a good message in the Heart. I really enjoy going on Sundays with my husband and children. Thanks to Father Pedro for the messages he transmits during the Eucharist! I will continue to recommend this Church!”

“If you are looking for a church I recommend it highly. Warm, caring, accepting of EVERYONE - here you can connect with God and not feel that you are unworthy. Don't know why some people refer to it as the "gay church". Members of this church are diverse - including LGBTQ people, those from other countries, everyone is welcome - our differences are what make us great. Come and see for yourself. Sundays at 10am.”

“"Serving people who serve the world." This small, locally-founded church in East Harlem is focused on serving people who serve the world, from non-profit youth and criminal justice directors to for-profit financial real estate investors. There is a way to serve the world through every vocation or role we have. Metro is open to people of all faith or religious backgrounds and at the same time centered on knowing Jesus Christ. Some of the ways Metro engages with the local community is through partnering with local small businesses through Cash Mobs and East Harlem Buy Local initiatives. My family found this church after moving from California four years ago and have really found ourselves planting our roots in the community through this church. I started volunteering here after a couple of years and now am an associate pastor here. Happy to review this church as my 500th Yelp Review!”
