1165 Greenwood Lake Turnpike, RingwoodWe did a 3 week board and train with Jacqueline for my dog Teddy and had such a great experience. She is extremely patient and really good at training both dogs and people.
Teddy came back doing amazing. He is so much easier to walk on leash now and overall feels calmer and more confident. What I appreciated most is that she took the time to show me how to communicate with Ted in a way he actually understands, including helping him get more comfortable in the car which used to be stressful for both of us.
You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and wants the training to stick long term. I’m really grateful for everything she did with Ted and would absolutely recommend her for anyone’s dog.

John Soares K9 Training
1165 Greenwood Lake Turnpike, RingwoodI cannot recommend John Soares enough. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Before working with John, taking our dog, Dylan, for a walk was a nightmare for me. He would go berserk and pull on his leash whenever we came across people and other dogs. Since he is so strong, he caused me to fall on two occasions. John is an exceptional dog trainer who has transformed our energetic rescue dog into a well behaved companion. His clear instructions and positive reinforcement methods made training enjoyable for both us and Dylan, leading to noticeable improvements in Dylan’s behavior. Now taking Dylan for walks is a pleasant experience. John’s gentle manner, love of dogs and affinity towards them really makes him an ideal trainer. John possesses a deep understanding of canine behavior and training methods. He is patient, observant, empathic, and skilled at communication with both dogs and their human owners. He is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the dogs he works with. I would encourage anyone to consider John’s services. Thank you so much, John, for everything you have done for us.

Pawzitively Furbulous
600 Westbrook Rd, RingwoodAs a professional certified trainer and AKC Evaluator, I see many dog handlers and professional walkers. Most of them I almost can't watch as they pay no attention to their pack. These ladies are proper handlers, love dogs and are super conscientious. The only reason I would consider offering board and train is because I will trust these ladies to properly keep the dogs while they are in a board & train two-week protocol. I know that not only are they seasoned dog people, but they love what they do!

Wonderful, friendly and welcoming staff right down to the gentleman who delivers he is kind and considerate just like the rest of the staff. I have never encountered anything but exceptional customer service. The food everything fresh to order and I believe everything that can be is homemade. Right down to their delicious chocolate pudding which is not the instant type. I even ordered some side dishes for Thanksgiving let me tell you they made an incredible stuffing it had apples in it something like I never had their own special recipe I presume. I wanted a green bean casserole not even on the menu and he kindly said sure we can do that for you. My family often talks about them wondering how they do it all so many item and daily specials I think they must have 12 people in that kitchen. I feel you know that most businesses do well when management is present well not only are they present the manager/owner will walk around greeting and having conversations with guests on a busy weekend morning he walks around with the coffee pot filling guests mugs I have even seen him helping the waitresses bring out food and may I add delicious hot fresh food. I’ve lived in Ringwood all my life and I’ve seen this diner go thru many changes and owners all the way back to Country Kitchen this is by far the best. I can go on but I will close with this it was Fathers Day and we asked my Dad where would you like to go out to eat? We presumed he would chose a nice Italian Restaurant and his answer was Lakeside Diner for breakfast. What does that tell you.
