Pet Care
Mahwah Veterinarian Groom & Board
346 Forest Road, MahwahAfter frantically searching everywhere for a grooming facility that would groom my 15 year old Poodle, I was recommended to Mahwah Vet Groom & Board. My dog, Sam, had been going to the same groomer for many years, but as he got older, his arthritis worsened, his mental state declined and he became aggressive and would not let the groomer do anything, so they could no longer take him, for their safety as well as Sam’s.
I am beyond grateful for meeting Tatiana who is the groomer at Mahwah Vet Groom and Board. She was so patient with Sam, and really took the time to get to know him and see what would work best for him. She asked for my husband and I to stay with Sam while he was getting groomed, and that made such difference! Thank you Tatiana for doing such beautiful work and thank you to the staff for being so kind and accommodating.

Pets Aloud Veterinary Services
357 Forest Rd, MahwahI have been coming to Pets Aloud for many years now. Today I took my dog in for an exam. From scheduling to the time we left the office, the staff is always polite, engaging and knowledgeable. Today I met a new veterinarian, Dr Gadino. He was so nice to talk to, great with my dog, very knowledgeable, and thorough. He spent a lot of time with us and answered our question or concerns, and gave my dog a complete check up. As always the price for the services you get are very reasonable. I’ll continue taking my dogs here. If I could give it more stars - I would.

Pet Sitting & Training
Good Dog Pet Training
31 Industrial Ave #2, MahwahAnne and the Good Dog Team are incredible.
I initially reached out for training for our new rescue girly who needed leash work and reactivity training. Eventually, our mini labradoodle became part of the crew to tighten up his previous training and work on impulse control. Anne explains, models and then has me implement the strategy. She is available to talk through any issues that arise and I truly feel supported by her and the team.
In addition, she led a private session for my 3 year old toddler and the dogs so that he can begin to understand how to better interact with them. My dogs quite literally cry from happiness when we turn on the street for Day Train and leave exhausted and full-filled. Thank you Anne and the Good Dog team! You rock!

Mason Jar Family Restaurant and Bar
219 Ramapo Valley Road, MahwahWow! What a delicious place with great service. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here with dinner. I had never been to this place since I am newer to the area and normally cook a majority of my meals. I was not disappointed by the delicious food and great service we received. The smells coming from this place from the moment we walked up made my stomach growl! I had a light lunch to prepare for dinner and I was very pleased. We had the fried brussels sprouts, half chicken dinner, and rib sandwich. The sweet potato tots were AMAZING! Actually, all the food was amazing. I found a new favorite spot nearby. Plus, there is live music on their schedule. Cannot wait to try more off of the menu.
