347 Ramapo Valley Rd, OaklandRamapo Valley Animal Hospital has been such a comfort to our family during a very difficult time. Our dog fought IMHA for three weeks, and throughout that battle Dr. Katara(especially) and the entire staff were consistently kind, patient, and compassionate.
They took the time to explain what was happening and what each step meant in a way we could actually understand. Even when the situation was heartbreaking, they treated our dog with so much care and dignity, and they treated us with empathy and respect as we tried to make the best decisions we could. Saying goodbye on January 5 was devastating, but the compassion and warmth we were shown made an unbearable day a little more manageable. Thank you, Dr. Katara and team, for your professionalism, your kindness, and for being there for us through every step.

347 Ramapo Valley Rd, OaklandThis isn’t the first time I boarded my almost one year-old Morkie Mia. She has separation anxiety, so I want to try to keep Boarding on and off so that she gets comfortable with the process. She did go on an eating strike, which is not abnormal for her. They were kind enough to let my daughter stop by and try a different food which worked. There’s never a rhyme a reason to her eating habits, I was just happy to hear that she ate something. I had also scheduled a grooming. Up until now, I have not been thrilled with the results of The outcome of others that have groomed her. This time around, I got exactly what I asked for! Mia Looks adorable! I explained exactly what I was looking for and that’s exactly what I got! There is no question in my mind that we will be back for daycare, Boarding, and definitely grooming. The prices are more than fair, the customer service is excellent, and I feel confident that my girl is in good hands.

Not only were they knowledgeable and caring but you can tell the animals were being cared for in a great environment. Thanks to all the staff for your commitment to the animals
