βI had gone there the other day to switch over from a bank iβve been using for 5-7 years to this one. iβve heard great reviews about oceanfirst. i called and one of the tellers was able to assist me in just the general basics of what i needed to do/what to bring to make this a smooth transition. quick conversation but still very kind and professional. i got there later on in the day & everyone was super friendly. the teller i worked with for the hour was Joseph and he was great. he answered all my questions and was extremely patient. i felt that i was bothering him with all my questions but he was able to help me clearly understand that transitioning process from moving accounts to even different features the bank had to offer. he listened to my concerns and what i wanted from this bank & how i wanted to proceed. i genuinely had a great experience and everyone was personable. i appreciate the great customer service from this bank in addition to the fact that i was able to confidently walk out of that bank knowing that everything was in good hands. hands down, i would recommend anyone going to this bank!!β

βToday was my daughter's last day of school and in a ditch effort to purchase a gift for my her teacher i found myself unable to complete an important purchase because of an issues with ATM card. After several failed attempts to resolve the issues on my own I franticly called the Scotch Plains Location and had the pleasant experience of speaking with the Branch Manager Karina who took her time and a worked diligently with me to resolve the issues. The staff were very professional and took the time Even after banking hour to help me resolve my issues. both Haydee and Avelina were patient and made sure the everything was working. correctly before i left. Having a bank manager Karina tell me that the bank was closed now but advised me to still come in because she would wait for me was something I will never forget. Thanks agin Ladies for helping resolve my issues with my card. Even though i was stressed you took the time to show me that you cared and i just want t say thank you!β

βOk- Iβm not a huge reviewer in writing but my experience merits a review. The Forest Ave branch is of exceptional customer service! I dealt with both Nicholas and Deshawn who were extremely patient, helpful and most importantly professional. I was there for a car loan, went through some hiccups unrelated to MCU but the dealer itself, however, MCU and staff were superb in making sure my loan and documentation was complete. The wait time was not even as long as it used to be. Furthermore, the branch manager Kang Lee was as hands on as the rest of them, which was very nice to see. I highly recommend this Forest Ave branch to my friends and family.β
