Been going to Rays for over a decade since I could drive. They’ve done work on all three of the cars I’ve had. My sister used to come here when she was in Jersey, my family used to come here when they were in the area. It’s the place you went for honest work.

Ray retired a few years ago now, but I remember meeting the new owner (Ali? If memory serves??-I apologize if it’s not the correct name)-he trained under Ray for years before taking over and kept my trust. He (and the other mechanics) really took care of me and after planet Honda on rt 22 ripped me off charging me $800 for work they never did, I had a cousin help me and then I just went back to going to Rays to get work done. Two years ago I explained my past experience with Honda and I remember showing them the pictures and paperwork. They got mad on my behalf and then they fixed my car further and went through their pricing and even extended help if I ever needed work done that they couldn’t do, they could at least help me find a trusted place. ABOVE AND BEYOND. (I had a warranty at Honda so I just used the covered oil changes there-they lied to me about needing work and charged me outrageous prices for stuff they never did-after that was proven- I’ve NEVER GONE BACK TO PLANET HONDA RT 22 AND WILL NEVER GO BACK).

I have since moved away a few years ago and yesterday I drove 2 hours to get my car looked at because I want the peace of mind and honesty that Big A’s gives me. An oil change I got done at a place wound up telling me I had some serious issues so I called Rays (Big As) and explained what I was told and asked them to look at that along with some other issues they fixed in the past. They debunked what the other place told me, and fixed my other little issues. They made suggestions and showed me what to look for. And then they generously helped me out and even went ABOVE AND BEYOND again to call me a few hours later to ask me how my car was doing with the long drive-to double check that I was satisfied with the work done and that I was okay.

The amount of mechanics that will lie to your face and scam you and try to play games is way too much.
If you want peace of mind, a mechanic that gives a damn, and a shop that will go the extra mile with integrity-Go to Big As. They haven’t let me down, and you can tell by holding a simple conversation with the owner or mechanics themselves that they care about the work they do and the people they help.
