“Just because I left Hackensack years ago, I still let people know how kind and knowledgeable they are. I used to work the counter years in the coffee shop next door. At that time I wasn't making a lot of money. I wore sneakers and wore them out pretty quickly. After I mentioned that my feet were hurting, the owners suggested a special brand that would last. After my shift was over I went next door. I was fitted perfectly! They were SO very comfortable. I had seen some prices so I guess I looked worried. I was given a price that I could afford. After leaving that coffee shop I finished school. I still work on my feet but, not for tips. I enjoyed that job! They both tipped nicely all of the time. I hope they remember the girl with the long blonde poney tail named Trish. You really should visit this store. I know some people that went not long ago. They thanked me for recommending this store. “Just terrific. A vestige of a bygone age. Incredibly, the store is located in the driveway of a residential house on a quiet, leafy street. (Almost certainly grandfathered in.) Anyway, it's an old-time tennis shop staffed by relatives of the man who founded the place in 1913. Good, high-end racquet selection; good accessories; even has some sneakers and clothes. Super-friendly staff is very accommodating and even generous with pricing and the occasional freebie. I feel good about patronizing this place. I mean, tennis warehouse is great, but do they really need your business?”

“I visited two Fleet Feet locations during the weekend, Union Square and Columbus Circle. The Columbus Circle one is better. and the store people seemed happier and enjoyed their time working there. The store associate, Gary, was extremely thoughtful and attentive. I went to the store with some problems with my ankles. When I said that I want to try the feet scanner with socks off for more accuracy, he even cleaned the scanner for me before I stepped on it, and was really patient with me while I tried on around five different pairs of shoes, and eventually found one that my feet like. I highly recommend both the Columbus Circle location and Gary!”

“I am an actor that visited New York last week to see a bunch of shows and a bunch of Broadway friends. As I left ‘The Whoopi Monologues’ at Lincoln Center, I walked past BLOCH and remember that my best friend‘s daughter needed to find tights the same as her skin color. I hadn’t been in this store in years! However from the moment that I walked in, the staff was absolutely stellar. They helped me find the tights and ballet shoe that I was looking for my 4 year old niece . I would definitely order more for this little princess dancer of ours she. Chase stepped into her dance class today with such confidence that every little girl of every shade should feel. Everyone commented on her new dance tights and shoes. Another mom of color even asked Chases mom where she could find them. Thank you BLOCH staff 🫶🏽”

“Ken makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. He was our first stop when we got our boys their very first pairs of shoes, and we’ve been coming back ever since.
