Berkeley Cut Steakhouse
2204 Central Ave, Seaside ParkI had the lobster pasta, which I initially thought was going to be gnocchi, but it ended up being amore mafaldine instead, so that was a bit disappointing at first. However, the dish itself was very good — the portion was generous and loaded with large chunks of lobster meat.
For dessert, we tried the Samoa donuts with vanilla gelato. The gelato was excellent and easily the highlight of dessert. The donuts were decent, but I think they would have been much better served warm. I ended up reheating them slightly at home and enjoyed them more that way. We also had the Tiramisu (made in house) which did not taste like the traditional dessert but was nice and light.
Overall, the restaurant is small and quite loud. There was live instrumental music the night we visited, which may appeal to some people, but for the size of the space it felt a little overwhelming and made it harder to have a conversation. The food quality and portions were solid overall. However, for me, it did not live up to the hype.

Bum Rogers Crab House & Tavern
2207 NW Central Ave, Seaside ParkThis place is definitely a staple. Came with family for dinner and enjoyed the live music and great food. Highly recommend “ It’s jersey shore thing” that comes with lobster, famous crabs and shrimp. Will definitely hit the spot. Will come back here soon for more of that and crab cakes. Oysters to start was a great idea as well. Enjoy responsibly with IPA and Tequila.
