I have been a long time customer of this location as I am a cardholder and a loyal customer of Best Buy for many years. I purchased a Samsung television on Saturday, April 6. I brought the television home and attempted to set it up when I realized it would not turn on. I was unable to bring it back to the store until Tuesday, April 9 because I needed to wait for my wife to be off to assist me in bringing the TV back to the Secaucus Best Buy, where I wanted to simply exchange it. Upon arriving to the store I went to customer service and explained the situation where I was told I would be able to exchange it. During the process of exchange, I was greeted by Christian Aviles, who portrayed himself as the general manager of the store. Christian told me that he would not accept my exchange as he stated the TV had "looked like" it was damaged. I then asked Christian what he meant by "looked like". Christian said he noticed damage on the TV and he would not accept my exchange. I proceeded to tell Christian that the policy of Best Buy allows me to exchange an item and that I did not break the TV and that it was damaged upon my purchase. Christian disagreed with me. I asked if he was the only store manager of the Secaucus location Christian answered yes. I then asked Christian who his supervisor was so I could bring this issue and matter to their attention. Christian refused to provide me any supervisor above him and noted I can only call the customer service number at 1888 Best Buy. I asked Christian again to provide me with his district or regional supervisor because I was not happy with the service I was provided and he again refused, I then went outside to my vehicle where my wife was seated inside and I called the customer service number that Christian provided me. Why line the phone with the customer service number Christian had two of his employees bring the TV out to my car. The employees then asked me what to do with the TV and I told them that I am attempting to exchange the TV and I don't want the TV back because it is broken. The employees left the TV in front of my car and mockingly told me "have a nice day' I was so embarrassed, because I was made to feel like a fool by the employees, and they were mocking me, and I asked the one employee for his name who he told me his name was Richie, but did not provide his last name and he was the swap manager. I have photos of where they left the TV if you need me to provide them. Customer service then told me that Best Buy policy is I can return or exchange the TV as long as it is within the timeframe. They told me unfortunately they could not help me, and that the store was the only one that could assist me in this matter. I proceeded to tell them that I was treated so poorly in the store and treated like a criminal and I felt embarrassed because the way they made me feel around other customers it was it was a very displeasing and upsetting experience. I then went back into the store and asked Christian one more time to please assist me in this matter as I just want an exchange and I've been a long time customer and I've been a loyal customer to Best Buy and specifically to that location and I simply just wanted an exchange because I wanted the TV and I wanted one that was not dysfunctional. Christian advised that he still would not accept my exchange or return, and he was very rude and very unpleasant to me, and made me feel like I was a nobody. This was such an upsetting and disturbing experience that I thought about it the entire day, and it made me upset the entire day to be treated like that especially when I've been such a good customer and I loved shopping at that Best Buy location. I am also upset to later found out that Christian lied to me because I was then informed that there is another manager above Christian or on the same level as him by the name of Brian. This store must improve their customer service skills. The manager a black haired, short man, does not have effective people skills. My girlfriend and I purchased a nice blender with a two year warranty. We tried to return the blender because it was water logged after a month. The little manager did not give us a deal on the new two year warranty. He said, "The warranty price is tied to the current price and it went up." I responded by walking out and replying, "We will wait for the product to be destroyed." It is important to note that I have purchased a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer/dryer at Best Buy. This little manager did not even bother to look up my customer history and I did not feel valued as a customer. He was not willing to look at the fact that the blender was malfunctioning within a month.

Went to exchange a laptop, and the manager truly erased my past negative experience at this location. I hadn't come back to buy anything in years, and when the product I purchased wasn't great, I feared the worst. But things went smoothly. Truly appreciate it.

BESTBUYS customer service has gone to the birds. Went in spent bought two phone flat out. After I made the purchase, the repnjust disappeared never bothered to help with the setup or nothing because not best buy has a brand new membership service. Previous years have had help without even asking. BESTBUY used to be my to go store, but after today, I think that's going to change. I was trying to rush to setup of my phone because it was almost closing time and again no one even helped or even bothered to have the courtesy to see if I needed any assistance setting up two phone. I was going to do a trade-in but didn't even bother doing that. Then they tell me that since it's almost closing, I would have to complete the trade-in tonight and wouldn't be able to do it another day.Again, their service has gone horribly down. The last time I bought a phone, I didn't have any issues and had assistance until I was done and ready to go home. I am basing this from years of going to bestbuy. This was by by far worst service I have had. I can't even name personel because everyone wasnt even trying to help.

No reps around because they are huddled in one location chatting and laughing. Once I finally got one rep to help, he seemed bothered and after 30 seconds he said they were out of the product I needed. I then found the very same product he said wasn’t available myself after 5 seconds of an eye scan.

They need to change the credit card company,the interest rates are crazy! I’m getting a personal loan to pay my Best Buy credit card, because if you don’t pay at certain amount of time they will add a penalty of $1000 and more interest so, when you go to the store make sure you get the right information from the sales person because they make it seem very easy to get people envolved in debt.
