“A great and conveniently located place to get authentic Indonesian food and spices. Their homemade sambal is a staple in our household. Love the martabak, it's soft and chewy with the perfect amount of cheese. Our most recent order could use more condensed milk though, I typically don't like anything that's too sweet but martabak lacks flavor without it. Dita's used to have more variety in their menu, for the past couple of months I'm seeing the same thing every day. I miss the risoles, tahu isi, pempek etc. wish they're sold daily or preorder is available.”

“Always clean, always busy, but they have the best flowers! Great for quick shopping trips but not for large shopping. If you have a big family Def grab some fruit and veggies but not for meat shopping as they only have meat in small packages. Great for Vegan or Vegetarian shopping!”

“Ordered trays from pastosa for the first time for Christmas Day. I appreciate how late in the month they allowed you to place the order! Everything was so easy. From ordering the food, to picking it up, to heating it. The staff was so accommodating. The pick up process was flawless and quick. Especially with having 2 kids in the car! The Italian bread was the best I’ve had in New Jersey so far. I will ONLY cater from them from now on. From Staten Island to NJ nothing but consistency.”

“Pretty good selection of Asian cuisine and what was bought from here was very delicious and fresh. I don't frequent here often but it's a nice store with an assortment of other stuff to partake in nearby. They make some pretty good pre-prepped foods and amazing kimchi that you can get in little tubs. Will try to go back more often to get a better gauge on the consistency of the food.”

“Good little Indonesian grocery store to pick up snacks and food. They get their ready to eat food from Ramayana in Philly , which is a very good Indonesian restaurant (personally went & tried as well). Ones I like are the ayam goreng (fried chicken) , and Nasi Pedang (Rice & variety of meats / veggies). Beef rendang is harder to get, would recommend calling ahead and they will order one for you from Ramayana. Best part , saves you the 3 hour round trip drive to Philly. I don't mind paying a few extra dollars for that convenience. They also have frozen bakso balls as well if you need those to make soup at home too. Overall a good grocery store. Don't forget to bring your own bags as always. Only knock is the small and tight parking lot in front of the store. A pain to get in and out of here. Usually resort to parking at the burger place nearby, grab a burger or two and head to this store. Check it out if you love Indo food.”

I have came to this location twice, and the store interior is well organized, and offers a variety of different things. Seems popular, judging off how filled the parking lot is.”

“I've been getting ALL of my beef and chicken here for years, so this review is not based off one or two good experiences. It's based on more than I could possibly count. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone without any reservations. If they have it - it's fresh. Everything is displayed and prepared right in front of you. Add to that the fact that it is a family run business - you're being helped by an owner every single time. There is also no shortage of other staples like rice, lentils, olives, tea etc. right there. So, really, what more can anyone ask for.”

“We discovered Maharaja store during pandemic induced lockdown while searching for an Indian grocery store that has home delivery. It was recommended by a friend, and it certainly did not disappoint. You can order authentic Kerala groceries and snacks online and have it delivered to your home for free although I highly suggest adding tips for the service. For any questions, Sarin makes himself available on his cell phone and promptly asks for feedback regarding individual items, especially when something is newly introduced. The ripe plantains are the best that I have found in NJ (makes the best plantain fritters called "pazham pori" in Kerala - the equivalent of the Spanish platanos maduros), but it's hard to get as it gets sold out soon. I cannot recommend Maharaja store enough. Must try !”
