“This store is an absolute hidden gem and the owners and staff are all wonderful. They will make you an absolutely delicious sandwich or sub (try the chicken salad!) with an awesome array of toppings and charge you less than you might expect. The salad bar is equally as tasty and the sheer variety of chips and drinks to round out your meal is staggering. I work around the corner and live about a mile down the street and will go out of my way to shoot over here when I’m hungry. They’re even open on Saturdays. Lots of groceries and produce (even cut fruit for a snack) are available as well so you can grab your last minute odds and ends on your way home at night. They’re open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5:30pm; closed Sundays. I will sing their praises wholeheartedly to anyone that will listen. Give them a shot!”
“I've been coming here since I was a kid when they were located in the borough, and I prefer supporting small local biz. They genuinely make the finest & tastiest sausage around and they're even better people. If you haven't had the pleasure of trying Gerome's yet, do yourself a favor and grab some. The broccoli rabe and prov is delish, peppers and prov is another slam, standard hot is always popular and good, but the honey habanero is excellent if you enjoy some heat and sweet. Tons of choices and new flavors they release which I truly appreciate.”
“Wonderful family run business. The pork roll is fabulous once you’ve had it you will never go back to the mass produced stuff they pass off as pork roll in the supermarket. The boardwalk sausage is soooo good definitely try the smoked pork chops and the hotdogs 😋 trust me you will be so happy you found your way here.”
