“We needed some small items so decided to swing by Harbor Freight and see what kind of new items were available. They have most everything a homeowner and backyard mechanic needs from power tools to welders. Power washers, paints, wheels, tires, shovels etc. Also have parts such as spark plugs, wire ties, gloves and most everything a little shop requires.”
“Swain’s Hardware is an awesome hardware store that provides quality products and great advice! The store is so much larger on the inside than it appears from the outside. We have almost always found what we were looking for from hardware to housewares and things in between. Not only that but sometimes I go in with questions and Rick in paint or Glenn in hardware really think about solutions or products. Plus they walk with you to point out potential products to match their advice. One day I needed to purchase a very tall ladder that would not fit in my vehicle. One of the guys said if we could wait until the end of the day he would be able to deliver it to the house when his work day ended. And sure enough there it was carefully placed in the rear yard when we returned to the house later that evening. THAT is great customer service right there!! The cashiers are also efficient and helpful. Swains has been great coordinating the purchase of products for carpenter, painter or handyman use. Cape May is fortunate to continue to have Swain’s, which has saved us many a trip across the bridge to a big box store. We are happy to support this local business and genuine neighborhood hardware store. Great people. We kind of joke it’s like Cheers where everybody knows your name. Swain’s helps us keep our home in tip top well-maintained shape. If you are in need of a thingamajig whatchamacallit, they probably have it!”
“Placed an order for turf truck driver was super funny! such an easy spot to place orders they get you in and out and set up the notifications for when your shipment arrives and unload it right infront of you! very respectful people operating the freight area here!”
“Myron (store manager) and Kayla - were absolutely AMAZING!! They went above and beyond to HELP and tried to ship a 6LF Christmas Rooster. Unfortunately, getting the Rooster to the Jersey Shore proved to be impossible :-)

“Patrick who works in Cabinetry is an outstanding guy! He spent a couple.of hours helping me with an appliance purchase I was making after the Sales Manager had left for the day. The sales manager for Appliances found an appliance for me in the back, and was able to get me what I needed the same day. Patrick took on the responsibility of assisting with my purchase and worked with me to hold the item after my purchase so I could have it ready to pick up. He even wheeled it out and helped give advice of how to transport and load the item. Thank you so much Patrick in Cabinetry!”

“I gave him a five for good service and for having the part, I didn’t see anything wrong with their customer service. They were very polite and helpful. Treated me like I was a contractor more than a homeowner. I don’t know it could be just me but they had great Service and it was much cheaper than calling a contractor that just picks numbers out of the air. If you can do it yourself this is the place to get the part and maybe some information to help you with your project but always remember safety first.”
