“Home Goods has become one of our favorite stores since we became home owners almost 13 years ago. My partner and I came tonight, located off of New York Avenue in Lynhurst, looking for decorative accessories for our new sofa, and it wasn’t crowded. This establishment has so much to offer its customers in terms of home products at such affordable prices. I like to say this brand is very similar to how Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are, but is a bit more luxurious. Since the selection is always changing, it’s the best bet to grab it while it lasts, as one could always return it if not needed. Quality is always amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the stores are well-organized and easy to navigate. And their seasonal selection is always on point, so we can recommend this place.”

“Our little Marshalls here in Newton had an extraordinary selection of furniture, cookware, bathroom and kitchen accoutrements, including some very high quality bedding, bath towels and great customer service.
I've yet to meet a rude customer advocate in this shop. They have all been helpful, they don't try and sell you anything you don't need or want, and their products are very high quality for their low prices.
If I had any feedback for consumers, there is a LOT to look at and as a result you'll have a good time shopping if you like shopping in real life.
It's almost a physical product overload. If you remember a shop called "The Bombay Company" this place is very similar, however the theme is different. More modern than an antique replica vibe.
I like shopping so, for me, I could spend hours in this store.”
“I don’t know what kind of psychological wizardry Kohl’s is running, but every time I walk in “just to return an Amazon package,” I walk out with three shirts, a random kitchen gadget I definitely didn’t need, and a receipt telling me I saved $187 — even though I’m pretty sure I spent $93 more than planned.
The Amazon return booth is actually the main reason I come here. It’s fast, it’s easy, and they hand you that little coupon that whispers, “C’mon… just look around.” And then suddenly I’m in the clearance aisle holding towels.
The store itself is clean, organized, and surprisingly relaxing. You can actually browse without feeling like you’re trapped in a maze. Staff is friendly, they don’t chase you around, and somehow there’s always at least one checkout lane open — a miracle in retail these days.
And the Sephora inside? That’s the part where I pretend I’m “just passing through” and then walk out having tested twelve different lotions on my hand.
Bottom line:
If you need clothes, house stuff, gifts, or just want to feel like a financial genius because your receipt says you saved a fortune — Kohl’s in Linden delivers every time. Highly recommend… but don’t blame me when you walk in for five minutes and walk out an hour later with a bag full of “deals.””
“I wish you had more selection of men’s cargo pants. It took my husband 2 hours to find cargo pants with pockets on the side. When finally found the! There were only 2 pair in his size.”
“The cashier there very polite, she helped me exit the store with shopping cart, which she had to unlock the cart, so that I could take cart to lot, and unpack.
Since she did that, I took cart back to store. This staff very professional.”
“I went to this location to get pots and other kitchen items. Russell, the associate in the kitchen department was super helpful and friendly. The pot set was heavy and he helped us to bring the items on a cart to our car and even helped us to place it inside the car.

“This is one store where I can get some household and personal necessities at good prices. The store is designed in a box layout, which does make finding things a whole lot easier. The service here is super helpful in addition too. Checkout can be a bit of a wait at times, especially when there are only one or two cashiers to handle all the customers on line waiting.”

“Just visited again today. The location located on Springfield Ave in Newark NJ. Again staff is always professional and courteous, store is always neat and clean. They have a few things I may go back for, but this trip was solely for my wife's business not pleasure. But I will be returning in the future. So far every location I've visited is the same across the board. The level of service and professionalism and cleanliness is unmatched when comparing to other big box retailers.”

“If you like Nordstrom, you’ll love Nordstrom Rack. They have great deals and clothing very heavily reduced. For the most part, the store was organized unlike other discount stores. The bathroom was even very clean. I was impressed”
“Our photographer Jayla truly understood the assignment and was able to capture the exact poses/photos my siblings and I envisioned, as we all worked at the same movie theater at different times so we came in wearing our uniforms for a sibling photoshoot. She also came up with many more fun and dynamic poses for us to try that we would've never thought of. We were all extremely impressed by her guidance and the final photos and felt she truly went above and beyond as our photographer. The rest of the staff there was also incredibly friendly so highly recommend this location.”
