“This past weekend I took my son to a birthday party for his classmate and all I can say is how impressed I was with the entire experience. My son is 4 years old and I’d have to say the instructor Gaby was amazing!!! There was about 15-20 4yr olds and the way she was so engaged with them and made sure they stayed on course while having a good time was astonishing! Even the kids that were a little shy she made feel comfortable, I will be signing my son up for classes in the fall next year!Thank you Gaby for our awesome experience!!!”

“I have been choosing the Pines Manor as a go to venue for many years. They have hosted 8th Grade Dances for my place of employment and recently hosted my daughter's Sweet Sixteen. Their prices are reasonable and the work with you to make things affordable and just right. Rose and Jennifer were knowledgeable and courteous throughout the beginning phases, and Jhonny was a great Maitre d. He was always available to assist and made sure my drinking glass was always full. The Pines Manor is pretty and clean on the outside and inside. The food is good and many of the extras that were added (Mediterranean bar, fajita station, and chocolate fondue) took the event to the next level. Thank you for making my daughter's day special.”

“The venue is in excellent condition. Beautiful. Parking was a bit confusing. Pre-paid Parking next to the CPAC was not available to retrieve from the website as indicated on the web page. There was a guy asking to be paid at the entrance of the lot but he had no credentials (uniform or otherwise) indicating he worked there. I took a picture of him and his vehicle.”

A special shoutout to the onsite cafe- the personal pizza pie will rival most pizzerias in quality. Anyone with a negative review- you must be one of the types that complain about everything. This place is perfect to keep your toddlers engaged and get social interaction with other babies without being on top of each other.”

“The place was great for spending time with friends and family. It was small compared to other bowling places I have been to but it doesn’t take away the fun I have had. The food was decent, not great but not the worst but the fried broccoli was a bit mushy. Other items were great, so were the sauces. Overall, this place can be visited for a good time.”
“Had my 50th Birthday here the hall was spacious and clean as well as the bathrooms. They were very accommodating Especially Brenda who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed Always got back to me in a timely manner very polite. The bartender which we had was amazing funny great personality. They allowed us the night before to drop off our things from decorations, drinks, and food. Brenda opened early 9am the day of to allow us enough time to decorate. I would definitely rent this hall again.So worth it.”

It’s fifth in the 12-animal Chinese zodiac cycle and the only animal that’s a mythical creature. This afternoon, my partner and I arrived at the Woodland, located off of Woodland Road in Maplewood, to celebrate Lunar Fest NJ 2024—Maplewood Arts & Culture. Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”

“I recently visited Union Sports Arena to explore it as a potential venue for a private event and had the pleasure of chatting with Ken. To my surprise, the facility is more expansive than it appears from the outside. Ken graciously gave me a tour, showcasing the main rink complemented by a smaller practice rink and a snug indoor field area.The upstairs food shop exuded a welcoming atmosphere, making it seem like a fantastic spot to unwind. Additionally, they offer birthday rental options.They've been there for over 22 years, yet it's a spot I've driven by countless times without paying notice. Tucked off Route 22 a bit, it doesn't stand out from the highway, but nonetheless, it left a lasting impression on me with the story of why they started and the very family-oriented goals they practice.As I consider Union Sports Arena for my private event, I can't help but recommend it, especially for those venturing into hockey at various training levels. The facility seems to boast a great coaching team, promising a nurturing environment for learning and development.”
