“Planning a wedding from out of state could have been incredibly stressful, but The Palmyra made the entire process so easy. Over our year-long planning process, I only visited the venue once in person to go over color schemes and get a feel for the decor. Everything else was handled through phone calls and emails, and every staff member was always prompt, responsive, and happy to answer any questions I had. Sharing inspiration photos and a Pinterest board ended up being the perfect way to communicate my vision, and they truly brought it to life exactly how I imagined. We had around 150 guests over Memorial Day weekend, and from the moment everyone arrived until the very end of the night, everything ran flawlessly. The food was absolutely incredible, and we received countless compliments on the catering. We only had one bartender for our large group, and he was phenomenal, constantly making multiple drinks at once while still being friendly, engaging, and keeping the line moving so guests were never waiting long. One of the biggest reasons I chose The Palmyra was because I wanted a venue that could handle nearly everything so I could focus on enjoying the planning process, and they absolutely delivered. They took care of the decor, catering, bartender, event staff, and even included a beautiful dessert table that our guests couldn't stop talking about. I spent months comparing venues, including many that were much closer to where I lived, but none came close to offering the level of service, attention to detail, and overall value that The Palmyra provides. Their packages include so much more than just the venue itself, yet they were still significantly more affordable than many other venues we considered. I would recommend The Palmyra to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience.”

“I held my girlfriend’s 30th birthday party at choppers cause we knew we wanted to do a fun activity with family and friends. I spoke with Dom a month in advance to let him know my plans to invite around 40 people and bring food and drinks. He was really helpful and accommodating while answering my million questions. The venue is large and the staff reserved a spot towards the back, away from all the other guests. Having our own dedicated refrigerators For drinks and a birthday cake was a convenience that I didn’t know I needed.The coaches themselves were friendly and knew how to wrangle in the crowd of (partially drunk) people. All in all, I would definitely come back and host any type of event here in the future!”
“My daughter got married on Friday at Arts ballroom. It was beautiful. stress free, very organized and fun. There was a lot of food and it was delicious. Venue itself is very beautiful. Special thanks to the staff that made it happen. They were amazing. Celia, was our assigned wedding planner. She was very good, helpful and simply a great person with an amazing personality. “This is a small auditorium perfect for the show that we were there for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The auditorium needs updates. The carpets are old and dirty. The ceiling had holes in it. The space between seating rows is very tight.”
“I just had my son’s first birthday here, and everything was wonderful from start to finish in the cutest space. I want to just give the staff major kudos- we accidentally spilled a seltzer and while we were cleaning it up off the hard wood floor- the paper towels were COMPLETELY WHITE! I don’t know any other kids spaces that you can go to and have such clean floors! 10/10 would recommend”
“Built. Carpenter's Hall and the guild that built it were instrumental in building the United States of America. Serving as a place for Congress to meet and also a place to foster and support industry through the building trade. Free to enter and right next to Independence Hall it's convenient and important all day long. I think my favorite thing was it was right across the street from my hotel.”
“We rented out Clique Socially for my step-daughter’s sweet 16 party. Everything turned out great. All of the tables and chairs were in great condition and the kitchen area was nice and well kept. We had about 50 people and still had enough space for a backdrop and dance floor.
The owner was great with communication and make everything super easy. She even went above and beyond in trying to help us find a big birthday number when the one ordered didn’t light up.
I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to hold an event.”

Kara has been an absolute lifesaver with all the planning and organizing for the event—she's great at helping coordinate everything and keeping all the details in check so nothing falls through the cracks. She's also so quick to answer emails, which has made communication seamless and kept everything moving forward without delays. And a huge thank you to Debbie and the entire staff—they were truly amazing! They were professional, warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcome and cared for. Debbie personally checked in with us multiple times and made sure everything ran smoothly. Their energy and kindness made the whole evening feel effortless and special.
The food was outstanding—both in taste and presentation. Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully plated, and looked almost too pretty to eat! The flavors were incredible, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the meal.
This reception exceeded all our expectations and helped make our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. We highly recommend this venue and especially Debbie and her wonderful team to anyone planning their big day. Thank you for making our celebration so perfect!”

“We attended the Fresh Fruit Cocktail class this past Saturday and it was phenomenal. I normally do not leave reviews but the instruction, atmosphere, drinks, and most importantly, the instructor George were all fantastic. The fruits class especially was great because you were able to customize your drinks based on what fruits you wanted to include! Definitely recommend and when I am back in the Philly area, I will be going to another class!”
“My daughter absolutely loves her toddler dance class at Little City Activity Center— it’s one of the highlights of her week. We also celebrated her birthday there earlier this year, and it was a fantastic experience. “My first wedding and reception took place here. It is a beautiful location. The Atmosphere is wonderful. They offer a selection of caterers and bands. Our Minister blessed our wedding and our wedding dinner. We had 100 guests. A friend of ours played the flute as a prelude to our wedding and as our wedding party walked up the aisle. We had a four course dinner and 3 dessert options. The band played marvelously.”

“This arena-sized facility has been beautifully renovated into a world-class indoor sporting venue. There is good stadium-style seating for spectators. There are also some small lounge areas where you can sit back in cushy chairs and take a break with a few friends. The squash courts have excellent visibility for onlookers. Everything is very well-designed, using an open concept for the interior and high-quality materials and lighting. This is an important asset for University City and the 30th Street Station area, and I'm sure it will elevate the sport of squash nationally.”

“Enjoyed a 2-day business convention as an exhibitor in this gorgeous facility! Beautiful surroundings, panoramic city views, great food and catering staff, and welcoming greeters upon arrival each day. Lots of private and semi-private dining and work spaces, including individual offices. Dining area included breakfast muffins, coffee, tea and flavored ice water. Apparently they serve 3 meals a day for members and guests.”
