Ruba is a historic multi-space venue and catering club for events from concerts, shows, and theater to weddings, meetings, and private parties. It is a great space for a party, dancing, and karaoke with a cool layout featuring a stage, large dance floor, and plenty of seating. The atmosphere is timeless with interesting art pieces and wall hangings. The sound and acoustics are incredible and very good. The bartenders are great, efficient, reasonable, and wonderful. There is a vintage pool table, darts, pingpong, and an ATM. The place is a bit dated, but it is a gem and a staple of the community for art, music, and science.
I'm here every weekend, I trust the owner and providing a safe space to let loose. I trust the bartenders, they don't water the drinks down. And security is getting better and better as time goes on. I LOVE it‼

A friend here in LA told me this is The Place when in Philadelphia. The 5 stars are because my son followed the advice and was here and loved it. I’m flying in next week, can’t wait!
