“They tend to sell slightly aging oversupply from a wholesale distributor in the area. I am very happy with my purchases. Nice folks seem to run the place. An added plus is Hispanic veggies if you are so inclined.”

“Quaint little cheese shop with a nice variety of cheeses. We visited Avalon mid September and the shop was recommended to me by my son, I’m so glad I went. I was able to try several samples of cheese I was interested in, which is helpful because you don’t want to get home and hate the cheese you just bought lol. My favorite was a Chardonnay sharp cheddar.
In addition to the hard cheeses, there were many varieties of cheese spreads available, as well as crackers and condiments, etc.
If you are in Avalon, stop by The Mousetrap. If you are a cheese lover you won’t be disappointed!”
“I ain't have no problems and one rude pharmacist ain't there no more. I wish the drug companies would give these stores more meds as sometimes they can be late with my script that happens at every pharmacy. Btw No legit patient being denied like some say. Your Insurance will need a pirior authorization sometimes. the pharmacy is not for addicts and won't be tolerated here”
“Found this place by accident !!! It made my day ' perfect find! My three yr old got a taste of her roots. Clean Welcoming Friendly place Looks family owned- i dont know. Wish they had a more store front location and signage. Took home some cecina home and it hit the spot on taco night. We also purchased a molcajete to make our own guac. Wish they would also add more meat / cheese variety. I don't like close so sadly I couldn't take everything with me.”

“I was honestly pretty let down by my recent visit to this store. The produce section looked like it hadn't been stocked or checked in a while, and quite a few items I needed were completely out of stock. It also took way too long to get through the checkout lines because they had very few registers open. It is a convenient spot if you are in a pinch, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to shop here again.”

“Acme is a supermarket and the people who work here at great. I worked for 20 years for a supermarket chain. The Acme in North cape may nj. Is one of the best I have ever shopped in. Prices are hi but show me a place who's Prices are not hi. I never have a problem in this store. If they see long lines in the front. They open up another cashier.”

“Being a fan of their products and seeing them in every cartoon I watched growing up, I walked up to gentleman stocking a shelf and I asked for his rocket and explosive department and he looked at me like I was crazy. I asked if I could forget about gravity for a few seconds and he still didn't follow. Whatever, no rocket sleds or explosive cannon shells for sale so be weary of the ACME market yall. 8”

The aisles are consistently well-stocked, and the bakery and deli departments offer some excellent options that I always enjoy. “The staff here is some of the most patient in the area and keeps it very light for the area which can be a bit to the tougher side every so often. The isles are pretty easy to navigate though they do fill it right up and stocking gets a bit backed up sometimes. One thing I noticed for the five stars is how they cleaned up the outside. Before it looked like a dump truck lost its good outside. There is a 24/7 redbox and the lean staff goes out of their way to refer if they do not have something. Only downside is the flyers which at the corporate level are available but not really contributing to my instore experience. It has a pre holiday feel so I am okay with the five stars but it may be difficult to maintain if anyone calls out for a small break - they have lost some key players if you ask me.Excellent stock for food for dogs and athletes on the go but prices dont adjust off season. They may be borderline gougers but for the availability of everything including higher end coffee and other treats it is my go to. The flyer is horrible but great for pups if they will share and they might!”
