“Clean, organized, and entirely competent, but with about as much flash as a tax office on a Tuesday.
Acme has food. Plenty of it. Shelves are orderly, the store is tidy, and you can generally find what you came for without needing a map, a compass, or divine intervention. What you will not find is much effort to make the experience feel special.
It is a supermarket in the purest sense of the word: groceries are sold, groceries are purchased, and everyone goes home.
Nothing particularly wrong with that. But nobody is likely to wander out thinking they’ve just had an experience worth telling the grandchildren about.”

“First time customer. The young guy at the counter was very nice & friendly, (cute too!)
The mushroom pizza steak was jam-packed with meat ??? and it tasted great.
I definitely recommend that everyone who visits North Wildwood, NJ, while passing through or staying for vacation, to try A & L P Foods, located at 14th St. & New Jersey Ave.”
