“I had such a wonderful experience at Pet Supplies Plus in Garwood, and I want to give a special shout-out to Ray, who went above and beyond to help me when I came in worried about my Frenchie’s ongoing gastrointestinal issues.
Ray spent over 10 minutes talking with me, not just tossing out generic suggestions, but really asking thoughtful questions about my dog’s symptoms and history. He genuinely listened, clearly cared, and offered such well-informed advice that I felt completely confident in the product he recommended. You can tell he has a real wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to pet health, and I’m so grateful for his help.
It’s rare to find customer service like this anywhere these days, let alone from someone who’s not just helpful but truly passionate about animals. I left the store feeling reassured, supported, and hopeful… and that means everything when you’re trying to care for a beloved pet.

“Heh-heh-heh! Hey there, pal! It’s me, Barney Rubble, and I just rolled my stone wheels over to this new place called Lidl in Hazlet! Fred told me it was like Bedrock’s version of a bazaar — only with fewer dinosaurs and way more fluorescent lights.
First thing I notice — no brontosaurus steaks. Not one! But they do got these things called “rotisserie chickens,” and boy, they smell so good I almost clubbed a guy in aisle five just to get the last one!
Everything’s shiny, cheap, and confusing — like if Mr. Slate opened a grocery mine. There’s signs everywhere with these weird prices like $3.29 — I keep thinkin’, “Just round it up, you cowards!” In Bedrock, we trade rocks for rocks. None of this decimal nonsense!
Then I see the bakery section — oh boy, Betty’s gonna kill me. I grabbed like six loaves of bread before realizing they’re all different kinds of carbs I can’t pronounce. “Ciabatta”? Sounds like a prehistoric bird! “Baguette”? Isn’t that what Wilma uses to poke Fred when he snores?
The cashiers, though — speedy! No yabba-dabba waitin’ in line. The girl scanned my stuff so fast, I thought she was powered by a tiny pterodactyl on espresso. I blinked and suddenly I owed her $72 and had three reusable bags I don’t remember buying.
Final thoughts? Lidl’s kinda like if a Bedrock quarry and a modern market had a baby — and that baby had great deals on cheese.

“Owner seems passionate! High quality selection for pets. I previously used a dry dog food for 7 years that was #1 rated by vets and even sold by my vet! I thought my dog was a rediculous shedder. Vacuumed daily.. My vet confirmed "some dogs do shed like that." This store owner had much to say about the "#1 vet recommended pet food" and explained I was starving my dog of essential vitamins. Now I have had dry dog food FROM food for 5 months and he loves it. His coat is nowy dog has a soft coat and sheds like a normal dog. Stores like these are great because they educate themselves on the products and sell what is proven to be good.”

They informed me of a walk in vaccination program they have on Tuesdays & Thursdays so we can get rabies vaccines for our two healthy cats very cheap & with no additional exam/visit fees. I will go next Thursday and update this review if there are any surprises, or if I am less than happy with the walk-in experience or with the information I received on the phone.”
“My puppy Cookie loves going to this store. The sales ladies are wonderful. Not sure if I'm spelling their names correctly, but Gail and Terry are awesome. If I need anything in particular or need a recommendation ,these two ladies have always guided me in the right direction.My puppy has been attending the training classes since October 2023. We enrolled her for all available classes. Her trainer Robyn is amazing. Robyn has been super patient and nice. Her techniques and knowledge is 100% teaching me to train Cookie and to be the best responsible owner I can be. Cookie is an American Bully and is training to be my medical service animal. With her help, Cookie has come a long way. We wish that we can take Robyn home with us. Cookie and I can't wait to begin the next Semester this February.Cookie and the rest of our family appreciates you all.”

They argue with me not to give me a free bag after my 10th bag the managers they’re a horrible, but I have no choice but to go there cause that is the only Petco in my area the work is a great the cashiers, but the managers are horrible. I’m very disappointed that I never received my bag of food for my dogs. I never get rewards. I’m not happy at all.”

“This pet smart is great, always has everything I need. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 9x out of 10 there is only one register open! ..otherwise, all good. The grooming is also very good in my opinion. They follow directions well and always have availability within 24-48 hours!”
