Big shoutout to Darrel at the Verizon store for hooking me up with the iPhone 16 upgrade. The process was super smooth from start to finish. Not only did he know his stuff, but we also had a great conversation about music. Darrel is the man. Ask for him if you want top-notch service and good vibes

⭐A Tale of Two Customer Service Realities at Verizon ⭐
I had two visits to Verizon's corporate store, and they revealed a troubling contrast between leadership failure and genuine professionalism.
On July 2nd, 2025, I was publicly chastised by the female store manager in front of other customers. Her behavior was less about leadership and more about power-tripping—ending with her mockingly shaking her body as she retreated to the employee-only area like a high school bully.
Fast forward to July 13th, she gave me a dirty look as she walked past on her way to the bathroom—another unnecessary display of hostility that speaks volumes about the toxic culture she fosters.
Meanwhile, the same employee who disrespected me on July 2nd repeated his behavior, abandoning me mid-manufacturer reset to assist someone who hadn’t properly signed in. I was left at the table without explanation, and the manager stood by and allowed it. It was a perfect storm of poor attitudes and a failure in basic customer service.
Thankfully, one person rose above it all: Assistant Manager Michael Cox.
Michael stepped in with grace, patience, and professionalism. He managed my transaction with careful attention to detail and a refreshingly respectful attitude that turned my experience completely around. While others seemed consumed by ego, Michael showed what true customer care looks like.
Ten stars for Michael Cox. Verizon needs more employees like him—and if they’re serious about improving the customer experience, they should start by promoting the one person who truly leads with integrity.

Extremely Unprofessional and Dismissive Staff — Proceed with Caution
I visited this Verizon store today around 6:30 PM, fully prepared to switch my service to Verizon and potentially bring additional lines in the near future. Unfortunately, the experience I encountered was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing — a clear example of what poor customer service should not look like.
Upon entering the store, the only staff member present appeared was a guy who was engaged in a personal video call, complete with AirPods in his ears. We patiently waited and then approached him, expecting at least a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. To our surprise, he barely acknowledged us. When we asked for help, he remained disengaged, uninterested, and offered no support whatsoever.
Realizing he was not going to offer us any genuine assistance, we politely said, “You seem busy, we’ll come back later.” His response? A casual “okay,” with no effort to retain our business, reschedule an appointment, or even apologize for the inconvenience.
This was not just a minor inconvenience — it was a reflection of extremely poor customer engagement and a complete disregard for new customers looking to invest their time and money into Verizon services. For a company of Verizon’s reputation, it’s alarming to see this level of indifference at a physical retail location.
If you’re someone considering visiting this store for help, support, or service — especially with something as important as switching carriers — I highly recommend thinking twice. There are plenty of other Verizon locations and retailers that will treat your time and business with the respect it deserves.
Verizon corporate should absolutely look into the quality of training, professionalism, and employee accountability at this location. First impressions matter — and this one was deeply disappointing.

I went in to buy a new phone, and the people were no help. Nobody showed me any of the phones and there's no prices on anything. They were too busy sitting around talking with each other.
I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and they don't have paper towels in the entire building. If you can't do something as simple as put prices on things or stock your bathroom, how can I expect you to handle my cell phones or contracts? When did falling short of the minimum become acceptable?

Terrible experience. The rep didn’t know the correct prices, so the manager came out—but they didn’t know either. As a manager, you should be knowledgeable. It felt like blind leading the blind. Staff were just sitting around, not eager to help. Completely unprofessional.

Im so grateful this store has a Manager that represents Verizon to the end of customer satisfaction. The store Manager went above and beyond to help me with my phone trading and the new setup required..It was extremely complicated but his patience and dedication were outstanding and professionally done. This store was super busy and still he didn't hesitate to help me get my phone setup and the process cleared. Thank you so much for all you did. AREA

I was there yesterday and went inside the store and then the one of the customer service person figure it was 814 and practically threw us out of the store because store closed. At 8pm I find that very poor customer service if the customer is already in the store, they should take care of the customer cause they don’t know if this is this is the customer is gonna make their sale and they don’t know why the customer is there Next time they should lock their doors on time and they you wanna have the situation will never go to the store ever again

Verizon makes it as difficult as possible for you to move onto another service. I left on good standing, i left because of a promotion and Verizon has had me jump through hoops and lied to me on the phone twice just to receive a copy of my final bill. Unless your a current customer or a new customer feeding them money Verizon will treat you like a chicken with no head and give you the run around.

Loved my experience i just didn't like that they dont give you any paperwork and make u sign everything on a computer that they dont allow u to even read so I kept asking questions and he kept saying yes we are giving u 500 for my old phone then i go next day and it said 150 for my phone. Then the other gentlemen changed and fixed it that's why im giving a 4 star until I see my bill to see if its right.

I’m here for a pickup and I been waiting going on 45 minutes. No acknowledgment and it’s about 5 or 6 people here. They have gone down looking at the past 6 months reviews. I haven’t been here in about a year maybe and the last time I was in and out. They really don’t think this store will get closed down because of poor customer service
