“Been going to Garrett's for a long time. I didn't realize I haven't reviewed them. Their jerky is the best hands down. They use a bunch of great seasonings instead of just salt so this jerky has more flavor than anywhere else. Their hot chile one is actually spicy too it's real nice. The red and green are perfect and the teriyaki is a favorite. Also love the doggy jerky bags for our dog. She's a big fan too”
“Great wild game butcher shop. Answered my call first time. I was able to schedule my order that day. Took my 100 pound of Oryx meat in for grinding to hamburger and they did a great job. Meat was put through twice with suet added. When cooked was moist and delicious. They moved to their new location on Isleta with a new stainless steel processing area/kitchen and large walk-in freezer. Very clean & professional. Will definitely use again.”
“Cuauhtémoc has the lowest prices compared to all of the other carnicerias in the area, yes all of them. Every now and then El Super or Mezquite will run a sale with a better deal, but generally Cuauhtémoc has the lowest prices by a significant amount. And it's great quality too! Cuauhtémoca and Food King on 4th are the only grocery stores in Albuquerque where I don't feel ripped off after shopping for groceries there nowadays”
