“Been going to Garrett's for a long time. I didn't realize I haven't reviewed them. Their jerky is the best hands down. They use a bunch of great seasonings instead of just salt so this jerky has more flavor than anywhere else. Their hot chile one is actually spicy too it's real nice. The red and green are perfect and the teriyaki is a favorite. Also love the doggy jerky bags for our dog. She's a big fan too”

“My favorite beef jerky! Real jerky, not that sugar laden meat candy that they sell at the gas station. I really like the green chili lemon pepper, just the right amount of kick. Sliced nice and thin. Everytime i visit NM, i always pick up a bag or three. Lol.”
“Absolutely my favorite jerky place. We drove through New Mexico and got some to try and I can’t live without it. The thin crunch texture is what I like. I love the quality the flavor of the green chili one is my fave! I also like the other flavors too even plain is good. Just ordered $200 worth!”

“My family has been buying beef jerky from here for generations. Absolutely love it but it is now overpriced like everything else. It’s unfortunate everyone has to get greedy. We have stopped ordering on a regular basis and started only pursuing for gifts during the holidays and birthdays. If they raise it again we will stop purchasing completely. Just not worth $21 for 7oz.”
“Mid-tier by the standards of Hispanic grocery stores in the ABQ area. Maybe I'm just spoiled by El Super up in Atrisco, the prices here seemed high while the selection and quality seemed mediocre. It does beat the nearby Albertsons on some prices, with a few surprises like the cheapest Mexican Coke I have found. Those pink and white coconut treats at the checkout are amazing and nostalgic.”
“Killer cuts of fresh meats and poultry. Warm customer service and great personalities. Love this place! Ground pork and ground chicken breast products are frozen but great quality too. Recipes are better with their meats and poultry than other boutique type stores for sure.”
