Whale of A Wash is a well-maintained and clean car wash with both self-service and drive-through options. The facility features well-functioning equipment, including vacuums and coin machines, making it easy for customers to wash their vehicles. The self-wash bays are equipped with full, working chemicals and soaps, and the high-pressure wash system generally provides a good clean. Many customers appreciate the property’s cleanliness and the well-kept appearance of both locations, which are highly recommended in Albuquerque. The car wash is especially praised by those who prefer to wash their vehicle inside and out themselves, with all supplies readily available. It is also capable of handling large vehicles like RVs, though some customers mention that taller bays or additional features such as a “cat walk” could improve the experience for taller vehicles. While most reviews highlight positive experiences, a few note occasional issues with equipment maintenance and drying quality, and some mention that bugs might not always be fully removed. Overall, Whale of A Wash is seen as a reliable, well-run place to keep vehicles clean.
LOVE both Whale Of A Wash locations - they're my favorite car washes! They are VERY well maintained. Vacuums always work really well, as does everything in the self-wash bays. The property is also very clean & kept up with.

Usually a great automated car wash, but last couple visits, my car is just not clean. Equipment doesn't seem to be maintained as in past
