“Was needing black bean sauce/paste for a recipe for spareribs. Started looking in the part of the store where it would seem it should be. The owner also looked and it seemed that possibly this store did not carry the item. Looked more on another shelf just down the aisle. Was able to find the item I was needing. Also took the chance to see what else the store carried. This store has a great selection of products likely to have exactly what you are looking for. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and for sure will shop here again whenever I need a specialty item not carried at a normal grocery store. Thank you!”
“Store was clean and items were easy to locate but the cashiers attitude was something else.. if you don't like your job find something else to do, my groceries are not something I want angrily thrown into a bag. Putting jars and cans in the same bag as the fruits is just going to smash the fruit and be a waste of money. I had to rebate most of my groceries.”
“I love to get Mexican sweet bread there. When fresh, the bread is soft and moist. Tastiest bread in clovis. This store has market products from Guatemala and Honduras”
“Me and my mom come to this dollar general pretty often. I never had a problem with the staff here. Occasionally, the stores are a bit disorganized, I think mostly due to truck days. Generally a good store, and nice staff.”
“Went in to get some things to make my kids and husband Easter baskets. Got 3 bag of chips, 1 pack of Easter gum eggs, 3 reeses carrots, 3 Fuglers, 4 bags of cookies, 3 colorful grass, 3 giant eggs, gloves, 2 boxes of flower seeds, 2 packs of vegetable seeds, and a 6 pack of Gatorade for $112.”
“This is the only dollar general I will go to and I go in to see an older lady and Brandon they are the nicest workers y'all got and they are always staying busy and friendly. It's unfortunate that I haven't seen brandon in the store as often because he is friendly face that keeps me and my entire family in Clovis coming in. Hope y'all can change that for us.”
“I really love shopping here. The store is usually very clean and they often have what I am looking for. Sometimes I do pick-up orders, however, I have noticed that items I was charged for are left out or they claim it is out of stock but I find it inside.”
