“Great for quick visits to pick up supplies or produce. Ok store experience with reasonably swift check-outs. Beware that nut milks among many other things are shockingly high priced. But you can go to the other big grocery store for basics. Some bakery items contain lard and do not always label this. So if you don't want that in your diet, do not purchase any of those items which do not list the ingredients because the bakery staff will not provide information either. Certain items regularly can go empty for awhile (poor restocking). Good baking section and variety of corn chips on the back wall including organic corn chips.”
“Very friendly and helpful employes..The storecwas well stocked and had everything we need,the problem was not any shopping carts,they keep getting stolen..I was in Houston and the Dollar General store I was in had poles attached to their shopping carts so you could shop throughout the store but the pole would not let the cart go out the door,you just carried out your bags..great idea!!”
“They have darn near anything you need going shopping. Today during checkout the cashier came across the meat and took all the bags out of the big refrigerator bag to load the meat. Many checkers just put whatever in the next bag they come across. We were impressed with the attention to detail.”

“El Rey has the best meat market I've found in the SW New Mexico. I was told that their meat is grass fed from Colorado. After the rib roast I cooked last Christmas, sooo tender and tasteful, I refuse to go anywhere else for meats. Absolutely worth the higher price for quality & flavor. Everyone associated with the market, is so friendly & knowledgeable. BEST avocados too!!”
