I arrived late at night to check in, our original room got oversold. These 2 ladies upgraded me to a bigger room, with a kitchen. From a studio to a suite. They helped me with my special parking requests, and they went above and beyond to make sure this stay was exceptional.
I hope hilton values these workers, because I sure do!

As for the property itself. Its located in a nicer part of town. The rooms, lobby, pool area, and gym. Are all very clean and extremely inviting. Very happy we booked here. Probably the best hotel in almagordo.”

“The Lodge at Cloudcroft was an experience and definitely met to my expectations. Walking into the lobby and seeing the classic decor instantly made it feel like you were walking into history. The staff was friendly, and the fireplace was warm. Overall, it was a great experience! The room wasn't huge, but not unexpected. It was cozy, and had all the amenities you could need. Having a smart TV connected to the internet was a nice modern touch, but history was all around us.
If I have any complaint it's that the observation tower was locked while we were there. I didn't have a chance to ask about access, but I was hoping to go up. Beyond that, the facility is obviously a little old and some things are showing some wear, but that's understood and expected.
I would definitely return to this location to stay again.”

“This was a cute hotel room. Complimentary bottle waters for drinking would be nice also a razor blade, toothbrush & toothpaste would nice as well! Overall this a great place to stay, it is near many eatery places that are nearby!”
“Easy check-in. I booked online so Just an ID, no debit card, no deposit. Very cheap room. Smelled clean upon entering, was clean upon entering. No pests, no noise except an occasional train. Friendly staff. Soft bed with a nice, soft Sherpa comforter. Clean towels. Huge flat screen tv, a desk, large mirrors, a rack to hang your clothes. The door locked and unlocked well. Check out was as simple as dropping off the key. This was a good stay, would come back. Plus you can order Indian food! They have a whole menu, idk why no one brings that up”
“We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. Our room was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room has a small microwave which we did not use. It also has a small refrigerator that we did use and appreciate it being available. We had our dog with us and really liked the large weed-free pet area where we could walk her. The pool had a cover on it and cannot be used. The bathroom doesn't have a hair dryer or shampoo and conditioner, so bring your own. Overall it is a good place for an overnight stay.”

“Great way to detach from the real world. Bring everything you need prior to driving to the domes for it's a trip to go back to town. Would definitely go back, it's a beautiful and unique vacation spot. The place was very clean and surprisingly spacious. We also had a great experience with the owners themselves.”
