“Well compared to some of the other stores, this place is great. Its not Harris Teeteror Publix, but it'll do for now. Im sure when I get time to go to Las Cruces, I'll be much happier. But the prices are pretty good compared to the Northeast.”

“Everyone who works here is very friendly, if I have a question, there's no hesitation to help. There is one employee who wears a mask majority of the time who does make me very uncomfortable, he has said he's a manager and that is the main reason I'm giving a 4 star review. No manager should flirt with or insult a customer, which this employee does often to me. This is specifically at the Bayard location, any Snappy I have gone to I have never had this experience.”

“I really appreciate the grab & go good selections, which include many vegan options. Everything I've tried has been delicious and made with fresh ingredients. There is a clean, comfortable sitting area at the front of the store. The store offers a great selection of fresh produce and prepared foods. Prices are appropriate for the quality and variety provided.”

“Good store with a variety of products. It's crowded with stock on the floor waiting to be put on the shelves. Very friendly clerk at the register. I will go back.”

“Not a bad lil store, I even like the chicken a bit more than the silver city food basket. Friendly staff and a good selection of food. As usual it's a bit overpriced like it's sister store in silver, but convenient if ya don't want to travel all the way to silver.”

“A lot of people in town look down at the Basket. The place is a bit dated but full of great buys. They have an imported food isle with risotto, fancy pastas etc with the same brands you find at Albertsons or the Coop but at half the price. It's the only place in the county that stocks Isabella's and Roberto's Mexican items (rellenos, tamales etc) from El paso and Las Cruces. There's always a good stack of ripe avocados at a good price. Chips are priced lower than anywhere I've ever been to, Walmart included. They have real Mexican spices and chiles.

It may not be ideal as a one-stop shop but it's full of gems and a VERY friendly staff.”

“It's nice having a DG close to the neighborhood & quite convenient across the hospital. I only give 4 stars because the parking is a bit tight and people have almost dinged my car door for parking too closely...overall it's a decent place for some quick items for the house or personal.”

“Jessica was very helpful with my medicine and explaining how to use it, she showed alot of compassion, and was very worried about me and the potential drug interactions. She helped me pick out over the counter meds as well, I am a bit older and can't see well!! Thank u Jessica I'm glad to be picking up medicine here!!”
