There is only 1 bank and one atm and they are both inside which is shut down for 2 weeks because of covid so my only option for deposits is to go 30 miles away and same to withdrawal unless you pay fees to use another atm.”

“When we moved to LC a year ago we made the mistake of opening accounts with White Sands Credit Union who put our new account money on hold for over 2 weeks. Thankfully we quickly moved our money to Citizens Bank and all is well. Customer service is without issue. Their app is fantastic. Citizens Bank has branches where we need them with friendly tellers. I'm grateful that LC has Citizens Bank.”

“I have an account at a different bank. I made a withdrawal from my Pioneer account at the Lohman (I usually go to the university location and have had much better experiences there) and then went to White Sands to make some deposits. Well, I got a call from WS and they said that there was a counterfeit bill in my deposit. I went to pick up the bill to bring back to Pioneer and it was movie prop money. Once I got to the Lohman location, the branch manager ran the bill and told me it was identified as counterfeit and that they had surveillance footage confirming that they didnt give me the bill. Now, I am a bit frustrated but the branch manager was incredibly hostile, defensive, and very unhelpful and now I am out $100. Needless to say, I am staying away from that branch, even if they really didn't give me the movie prop money simply because they were so dismissive and unhelpful.Update: the manager called and offered to exchange the bill. Sadly, after I left to try and get things sorted at the other bank, I ended up leaving it there for them to dispose of. However, the professional response and willing to work with me was immensely appreciated. Amended rating to 5 stars.”

“I read the review from the man in Las Cruces- wow. Not the Alamogordo bank. I had self-inflicted account problems, they took all the time needed to clear me up. I have not used them as a "lender," but as a money handler. They are great. I have nothing but praise for them- and I am a hard case.”
“My view of this bank has changed to a very positive experience recently. They are the only bank who will work with your personal circumstances, as in "skip a payment". I had to call in to discuss it and the person was very unhelpful, rude, and didn't offer me the options i found out later were available. Well a week passed and i received a call from management apologizing for the agent and the bad service on the phone call. NEVER has that happened! They refunded my payment and told me the agent was supposed to ask me some questions. I'm very glad to have my car loans here!”
“Citizens Bank is locally owned and managed with care for customers and the community. Offices are conveniently located. Help is a phone call away. Drive up facilities have always been examples of good customer care. During the pandemic, lobbies are open to those with appointments. Others must use the drive-up. ATMs work well.”
