“This is a delightful little gallery operated by a co-op of artists. Just off the old-town plaza square, down an alley, the gallery hosts beautiful works in most media (as well as gorgeous jewelry). I even gotten to watch a gourd artist applying his touch (or electrical current) to a piece; I was fascinated. Staffed by the artists, a stop at this gallery usually involves a nice visit with an artist and views of paintings, jewelry, fused glass, and pottery/clay. I always have such a good time and have brought some gorgeous pieces home with me from this gallery.”

“Went to see Brandon Maldonado (incredible artist) show. The space was open late, was well lit, and is a really great gallery space with lots of alcoves and variety of art. The person working the shop was very friendly and helpful. The space is also a quirky shop with a variety of candles, rugs, and other fun accouterments. We will definitely be back to check out other art shows.”

I am writing to share the wonderful experience I recently had at Weems Gallery.
From my initial phone call, I knew I had found the right place to have a special piece of artwork framed for my sister, who is gravely ill. Because the request was time-sensitive, I was deeply moved when they allowed me to bring the artwork in immediately.
Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and directed to the framer, Chris, who was already aware of my situation. Chris listened carefully, checked his materials, and committed to starting the project right away. The framing was completed by the next day and it looked amazing.
My sister was so happy to see the artwork hanging in her living room, it brought her so much joy. The compassion, thoughtfulness, and care shown by everyone at Weems was overwhelming. I want to thank everyone at Weems for their kindness and generosity!”

“I've been coming here for years, always to get some Alebrijes - hand carved and painted wooden animals, made by the owners' family in Oaxaca, Mexico. The artistry is great and they keep adding larger, more intricate and colorful figures. As an artist who has a brightly colored palette, I love how these have brightened my living room! “This space hosts the Albuquerque Game Developers Guild meetings every Tuesday night and meets our needs perfectly. Albuquerque can sometimes seem behind the times or bogged down by political or economic issues, but being here feels like you're living in a flourishing, modern city. Whether I am drinking or just spending quality time with friends and family I always love doing an acrylic pour. I've been to other pour places and none have been as fun and special as Matt and other presenters doing acrylic pours. If you are looking for a pour to do this is definitely the place to go for it.”
