“As with any ski town, bring your own groceries. If you do need anything else, you should be fine with Der Markt. It was well-stocked.I needed red pepper flakes, parsley, olive oil, and two packages of frozen garlic bread. I got all of these at Der Markt for around $17.Some other notes:- The store does smell like oil. It’s not overpowering.- Some produce (parsley) is placed in individual ziploc bags. It was still good quality, just a little strange.- Some of the meat looked a little suspicious, and was close to its expiration. Your call on what you buy.All in all, it’s a well-stocked small grocery. I cook a lot and I care about my ingredients, and I was distraught when I forgot some critical components. I was prepared to go to Questa or even Taos, but it turned out everything I needed was at Der Markt.”
“Now heres a real treasure. Nothing fancy but geared to the needs of travelers. Smaller container sizes. Made for your stay in Red River. You'll be gone from RR in a short time and so will your groceries. For these convenient items you dont pay a huge premium. I love shopping here. Have for many years. It is a busy place and lots of choices.”
