“We've been going to Der Markt during Red River visits for years and years. Overall, it's a great store to have in a vacation/tourist town because they have a ton of selection for a small town, and I'm amazed by how much variety they've got in a fairly small space. As expected, the prices are high since 1) it's a tourist town, and 2) they're the only grocery store in town, but that's to be expected.On our recent trip last week, we went into the store almost daily for random things we needed during the trip. During one stop into Der Markt, my wife had a really bad experience with an extremely rude employee at the checkout counter that embarrassed her and yelled at her for not using the little grocery dividers that you put on the conveyers. His behavior was totally uncalled for and out of line.”
