“I drove for Amarillo Hardware Company back in the 1980s and delivered hardware to this store...Charlie was the actual owner back then and the family always came out and we would visit during and after the delivery..and they usually offered a slice of homemade pie or some dinner...wonderful people. I miss those days. I had no idea it was still in business.”
