“We love Tara. It's a pillar of the community, and stuff is always unique inside. If you choose to go, please be respectful and kind. The owner deserves kindness.”
“I've shopped at Thrift Town for a few years and the selection of thrift items is quite vast. The employees of this establishment are very helpful, with a big shout out for an employee named Archie, who is very kind and extremely helpful.”
“This place is huge! It's an unending garage sale. China, glass ware, clothes, art of all sorts, jewelry, collectibles of all kinds. You just keep on looking.”
“I absolutly love this thrift shop. There are two business's here. A thrift shop and and a boutique! Every Monday they have a $15 fill it up brown grocery bag (I get good stuff here) I look for womens and men's clothing. Then they also have a full on thrift store.I LOVE the fact that you can do bundle pricing. Now where else does that!?! Other people don't see the value in it but I do!!. Come and check this place out or maybe not! I don't want to fight you for the good deals!!!”
“Great little thrift, lots of stuff to poke around in and find treasures. Owner and her family are very nice and fun to talk to. Would love to come back here sometime.”
“What a great and clean thrift store! The proceeds go to help elderly people who are in financial distress. The man that works there it was very friendly and informative and the prices are wonderful. They have a variety of things in here it's just a great little store, helping with a great cause!”
“I have enjoyed shopping here for a long time. Quality items, friendly and helpful staff, and have been happy with all purchases. Clean, organized, and very nice things.”
“It's nice clothes nicely displayed in a space with a comfortable boutique feel. The young lady running it was personable & helpful in showing a quick recall of the merchandise pertaining to my needs.”
“Wonderful thrift shopping experience with purpose. Always leave with treasures and feel blessed to donate and help needy women and children in our ABQ community.”
“Donated merchandise from the community, ranging from books, home decor, clothing, jewelry, shoes, and more. All sold to benefit a local animal sanctuary. A non profit organization, therefore no sales tax. Parking is available, but compact. Two separate buildings to explore, but you pay in the back building. Friendly staff. Would recommend and will be back again soon!”
“Fantastic store with gorgeous merchandise displayed so beautully and neatly and staffed by wonderful and kind people. What could be better than helping the angel babies while picking up some lovely items at incredible prices??!!! ❤️”
“Loved this store. Large variety of items to choose from. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Prices were also very reasonable. I will be back to shop at this store.”
“On January 1st 2026 there was an incident that I was sure would not be resolved due to being a holiday. However I was proven wrong as the employee’s (Eric, Susie, Tiffany and Allysa) they stepped up and helped with my situation in a timely matter. The Employees at this store generally care and enjoy their job at this location. They currently are still in contact with us and continue working with us to ensure everything is resolved.”
“I am so grateful that Other Mothers exists, serving the Albuquerque community. I have been shopping at Other Mothers for a majority of my two children's clothes, and I am consistently impressed by the quality, adorable clothing in excellent, usually like-new condition at truly amazing bargain prices. There is a great assortment of brands and styles, with large holiday sections throughout the year as well. It is very enjoyable perusing the well-organized racks for clothing gems! My older child gets excited every time she hears we are going to Other Mothers. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. I have saved so much money by shopping at Other Mothers, and my children are always well dressed. I hope Other Mothers remains a pillar in the community for many years to come!”
“I’ve been to this store a few times already however lately it seems to be getting better every time. Not sure if it’s new management but I am always greeted with a smile and the store is nice and clean and overall a pleasant shopping experience. Lots of good finds!”
“Savers stores are part of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program and money goes directly to that great program. Savers employees are very helpful and kind! Whenever I need help, for example reaching for an item that's too high for me, or furniture that is too heavy, they come quickly and have great attitudes. The merchandise and prices are better than Goodwill and Goodwill, from what I have read, pay their nationwide employees a Lot of money, rather than it all going back into the local community, that's only my opinion. I always donate to Savers and shop there often.”
“I swear I remember this place being bigger but maybe not!
Always good deals and higher quality merchandise at this location. Found the same this trip! Always a great place to find some deals!”
“Always enjoy going thrift shopping. Sometimes you find great buys...
Fun to look to see what others have donated. Sometimes find great items to re-purpose. Find a wall ornament for a sports team, reworked it and ended up with something pretty darn cool!”
“This store is close to home . And convenient. The staff are pretty nice. It does get broken into alot though. Hopefully they don't shut this one down. Maybe upgrade their glass doors. And better cameras and security. But good store”
“Went for first time yesterday and enjoyed it. Lots of great mens dress shirts at good prices. Got a couple of blazers as well that were both as good as new. The staff was friendly and I will be back.
Thank you”
“I mistakenly donated my son's entire Nerf gun collection. I pleaded with the staff to please see if they can find the tub from a couple days before. Lorenzo and his team was able to recover the majority of the toys for us and went above and beyond to save the day. Management is always helpful and cashiers are always friendly. We love the team at the San Mateo location. GREAT JOB!!!”
“This location is very upscale. The interesting thing is that other locations there is a fee to use credit card and this location does not. Makes me wonder if there an effort by goodwill to cater to those they think are more affluent.”

Thrift Stores
“Quaint med size place that I love to frequent. All kinds of unique finds and collectibles. Non profit organization that helps orphans all around the world as well as local. I love supporting the cause.”
“They have some neat finds but sometimes are a little pricey. You can't return clothing that doesn't fit for refund but get store credit. It's good to buy jeans here, they go for about $8 and some are barely worn. Sometimes you find good home furnitures/ decore that they brought from Target. The staff is always friend and helpful.
**** Update, October 2025:
Sometimes you find good finds here however the lack of dressing rooms is not convenient. They also increased the prices of pants, shirts, books & CDs yet still can't provide you a bag. Most of the people at the register lack interpersonal skills.”
