On this trip it was neat as a pin!Today's mission: Indoor Flat Paints to renovate two bedrooms. Speaking with the typically excellent Department Manager, Mark, he was frustrated that he could not mix colors of my choice, explaining shortages had caused his inventory to be depleted. You could tell he was passionate about paint.Anahi, his wonderful assistant, was more pragmatic. Anahi, a true merchandizer, enthusiastically pursued alternatives, finding 6 gallons of a flat base in the marked-down section. Sadly, it could not be mixed with pigments needed to make the darker colors I wanted, but Anahi found it could be used for slightly lighter shades, and ended up selling me 7 gallons of paint. Sam Walton would have been Very Proud of this young lady!”
