A special shout-out to store manager José for service above and beyond. Recently I requested a solvent that would remove white paint scraped across a door of my black SUV. A small job. After telling me what would work best, he said he actually had an open container. In a matter of minutes he'd taken a rag and wiped the paint clean. Made my week!”
“In general I'm not a fan of HF, but this store is pretty good. Firstly, it doesn't have that overwhelming tire fug when you walk in the door. I greatly appreciate that, as so many stores smell like a Michelin warehouse. Secondly, the staff members are all pleasant to deal with. Third, the store is pretty clean. No grimy floors or trashed displays. The offerings are not as vast as you might find in bigger cities, but for inexpensive tools it's a good option.”
“Went in recently & the gentleman was very helpful. Today I called to see if they had what I needed. Phone rang a long time then went to what sounded like a fax machine. Decided to go see if they had what I needed. On-line it said they are open until 4pm on Sunday. I got there about 3:30 & they were closed & sign on door said they close at 3pm. They wasted my time. I like having a hardware store close by so I try to take my business there instead of going to a big box store to get it cheaper. But if I don't know when they are open I probably won't waste my time to go check.”

“Wanted to give a shoutout to this Tractor Supply location, specifically to associate Louis, who completely turned around what started as a frustrating experience. After calling the Bosque Farms location and getting zero help, my husband called Santa Fe and the difference was night and day. Louis answered the phone, checked stock while we were still on the call, greeted us when we arrived, and helped load the mini bikes into our truck. That’s the kind of service that actually makes people drive from another city, and we absolutely will. Worth every mile!”

“I've been to three feed stores here: Santa Fe (2) and Espanola. The Espanola store is great, but a bit of distance for me to get there. Big R in Santa Fe is the best. There is always someone to help, whether it's loading grain onto a long cart, or answering questions. I love the people who work there. How can they all be so happy? They are! If only they could stock mini pig food for mature adults. Right now they have food for the active pigs, but mine are old and sleepy. I will add, too, that the store is tidy, clean, and well stocked. The fellows always help me out, loading what I've bought into the bed of my truck. Grateful for that. I have 49 animals, including horses, goats, pigs, peacocks, chickens, turkeys, guineas, and need to feed them well; I'm at Big R twice a month. Overall, always good experiences.”

“I purchased a new 6 burner 36" LP gas range to replace my 30 year old range for which parts are no longer available. I did the entire transaction on line with only two phone calls to their appliance department. Both times I spoke with Kim who was very knowledgable and gave me sound advice. The new one wasn't in stock but would be shipped directly to my house at no additional charge to me. I was advised of the delivery date and took Kim's recommendation for an installer. I contacted the installer and gave him the details.we agreed to keep the dialogue going via text messages. The trucking company contacted me with exact delivery information and I contacted the installer just to stay current on the project. It was agreed that they would remove the old range and take it with them. The trucking company delivered right on schedule and put the new range in my garage for safekeeping. There was no charge. I contacted the installer and we set a time to do the work. The installer showed up right on time and got straight to work. We started by unwrapping the new range to verify it's details. Next they removed the old range. After taking a door off it's hinges, they were able to get the range out of the house. They moved the new range in, did some minor work on the gas fittings, cleaned the floor and a carefully slid the new range into place. The electrical and gas hookups were tested and all seemed satisfactory. After checking the oven interior and installing the broiler drip tray, they started the oven which came on immediately. We then installed the control knobs for the range top and lit all the burners as a test, all was working perfectly. We assembled all the paperwork including shipping bills, stove manuals, etc. so that it was all in one place. The old range was then loaded into their tuck along with the packing materials from the new range. We went over the bill for the installation and agreed on everything before I paid them with a bank card. We all agreed it was a job well done and they were on their way. The installation took about an hour and a half total. The stove works perfectly and the door that had been removed to facilitate moving things had been remounted and worked as it had before. Nothing quite as satisfying as watching skilled professionals do an excellent job with no problems.”

My order wasn't picked yet but after driving a few hours to get there I asked to see if they could pick it so I wouldn't have to make a trip back here weeks later. They got my item and all were so helpful. CS was great and the two men who helped grab and load it were so nice and super safe.”
