“I recently spent a few days at the Inn on the Alameda. What a pleasant experience! The staff is friendly and efficient, from front desk, bartenders, wait staff to room staff. Margarite (sp?) in the restaurant was delightful and genuine. Christopher, general manager was helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants.
Thanks to all,
Eileen”

“Our family recently spent two nights at Ten Thousand Waves, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms were both spacious and comfortable, perfect even for a family stay. Nestled in a serene, forested setting, the property offers a truly peaceful atmosphere that invites relaxation the moment you arrive.
The spa is impeccably maintained, with beautifully designed spaces that encourage quiet reflection and rest. I highly recommend booking a private bath to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil experience, it was a highlight of our stay.
Don’t miss the chance to dine at the on-site restaurant, either. Every dish we tried was exceptional, and the ambiance perfectly complemented the entire property’s soothing vibe.
We can’t wait to return!”

“Seems like a very classy place
I enjoyed some drinks at the bar at the evening, but didn't have any food at the restaurant.
Valet parking was expensive but that seems par for the course
I would definitely go back and visiting the area”

“I can’t give enough stars for this place. Off street parking and plenty of outdoor seating. Rooms are clean and well appointed. We did have a smaller bedroom by choice so our bed was against the wall on one side so chose the room that best meets your needs. Staff is so helpful and the location is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the railyard. Quiet and lovely area. Snacks and water are provided in the office. We loved it here. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Suitably close to the Plaza (~½ mile) for walking. Pretty quiet area, outdoor parking (typical of Santa Fe). Groceries nearby. Kitchenette was well-stocked with utensils, everything worked. Nice Santa Fe style vibe, ???”

“I would definitely stay here again. Great location, clean rooms that are nicely decorated plus a free breakfast! I ate huevos rancheros every morning! Beautiful pool too and super friendly staff!”

“I really enjoyed our stay at Four Kachinas. The room was beautiful and very quiet, and also had great temperature control. I slept so well there. Even seemingly small things like the quality of the bathroom fixtures were great. It felt very much like a comfortable home and not like a hotel. We will stay here again ❤️”

“Stayed at this place for a couple of days but was never notified that I could use the kitchen and that there were Foodies in there so never really got to take advantage of that.Overall it was very nice except for the lack of communication. Would stay here again.”

“We had a great stay at Las Palomas! We loved the location and how easy it was to walk to the places we wanted to see in historic Santa Fe. We also really loved the made to order breakfast they offer. It's rare to find a real breakfast like that included at a hotel these days and that along with the hospitality makes this a really special place. When we checked in, they offered us lemonade, homemade potato chips, and a gift bag for my dog with treats and a toy. I would definitely recommend staying here in Santa Fe for the great service and location!”

“This perfectly located cozy inn is tucked away in a neighborhood within walking distance of the rail yard and the plaza. The rooms are unique and very nice. We had a private patio and beautiful bathroom. We have kids and they shared a bed, while me and my wife had a separate room. Allen and Leanne are the most beautiful, welcoming hosts that I looked forward to chatting with over their delicious continental breakfast. Would 100% come back next time we are here.”

“We love this place and have stayed here multiple times. It’s clean, affordable and comfortable and in a great location. Recent upgrades are lovely, too (without being Instagram-centric).

Thanks Kings Rest Court!”

“Hotel Santa Fe is not just a place to stay. It is a place that truly takes care of you.

From the moment you arrive, the experience feels intentional, grounded, and personal. The property reflects the spirit of Santa Fe in a way that is calm, elegant, and unpretentious. What makes the difference, though, is the people.

The butler service is outstanding. Kevin, Tony, Sorida, and Andrea each bring genuine care, professionalism, and attentiveness to every interaction. Nothing feels rushed or transactional. They anticipate needs, handle details seamlessly, and create an environment where you can fully relax and feel supported.

At the bar, Misty is exceptional. She is warm, welcoming, and highly skilled, creating drinks with care while making the space feel inviting and alive. The bar becomes a place to linger and connect, not just pass through.

Leadership is clearly strong and present. Lawrence, the Restaurant Manager, sets a high standard for quality and service, and it shows in the dining experience. Suzanne, the Sales Manager, brings clarity, professionalism, and warmth to every interaction. The coordination and ease of the overall experience reflect her care and attention.

The hacienda itself is beautiful and restorative. The rooms are comfortable and grounding, the courtyard is peaceful, and the entire property supports rest, reflection, and presence. Luxury here is defined by how well you are cared for, not by excess.

Hotel Santa Fe offers a rare experience that is thoughtful, consistent, and deeply human. You leave feeling remembered, respected, and genuinely looked after.

“Loved our room! We have not had much interaction with the staff, but those we have connected with have been very helpful and kind. Great location. Convenient to the galleries, shops, and restaurants of Santa Fe. Daily housekeeping unlike many other hotels. I highly recommend Old Santa Fe Inn!”

“Right down the street from El Rey is a cute little motel that has all the essentials covered. Ownership seems to be local and family operated. Support local! Room is clean and comfortable. There is a TV, coffee maker, and fridge in the room. No frills, a bit outdated style, and a little dark, but great for a no fuss comfortable stay.

We’ll be back! Thank you!”

“Update: The new chef from Saxon has a fantastic menu. Went for lunch and we had mushroom soup cappuccino , lobster roll sandwich and mixed greens salad with lobster. All with fresh ingredient and with flavorful. The mushroom soup was one of his signature dishes at Sazon and it is soooo good. White trufffle foam!
The nicest most place to stay in Santa Fe. Service.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Inn and Spa at Loretto. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel truly welcomed. The Living Room Bar staff was incredibly attentive and warm, and the spa team delivered one of the best experiences I’ve ever had—especially Bruce, who gave an outstanding massage I won’t soon forget.

Our room was beautiful, with its own private patio and a stunning view. Be sure to check out the fourth-floor walkout—the unobstructed view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking.

The location couldn’t be better. You’re steps away from great food, unique shops, and gorgeous hiking trails. When you visit, do it all—you won’t regret a thing.

This place is pure magic, and when I return to Santa Fe (and I absolutely will), this is the only place I’ll stay.”

“It’s a seasoned hotel but we have had a comfortable stay. The location is on a strip with places to eat in either direction. The breakfast is pretty nice and the hotel is doggy friendly. The pool and hot tub could yes some clean because the water was pretty cloudy.”

“We have stayed at Coyote South countless times, during many trips through Santa Fe--our dogs even know and welcome our overnights there! What we have found is consistently clean (smoke free!) rooms, great breakfasts, and comfortable beds. The staff are pleasant and available to help, and the motel is pet friendly for a reasonable fee. We have found the location to be very convenient to our favorite destination --the Saturday morning Farmers Market, but Coyote South does offer a shuttle to the main art area downtown.”

“We spent an evening at The Mystic. We had 2 dogs with us so the indiv fees & cleaning charges for dogs added another $80. However, it was a delightful place to stay. It's completely remodeled & clean. We were able to take our dogs to the outdoor patio space which is huge & spent time with them while sipping our beers that we brought. I didn't realize until the next morning that the breakfast was included with our room. The cafe is another beautiful space and the young woman running it was extremely kind & helpful. It's the best breakfast option I 've ever had at a hotel in the US. I've only experienced an included breakfast like it while travelling in Europe. The last item is that there is an automatic gate to the property so it's more secure if you have bikes or things attached to your vehicle.Thank you for a great stay!”

“I love this place so much! I only wish they weren’t booked for me to stay longer. Great relaxing vibes and a nice place to decompress and enjoy the historic desert vibe of Santa Fe. Everyone is so welcoming and the dynamic duo of Naomi and Garret at the front desk are amazing! I’ll be back again and stay longer next time.”

“Was happily delighted with this hotel, and especially with the staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly! The breakfast was as expected with lots of basic but solid options. We had a two bedroom/2 bath for a reasonable price and were surprised with an upstairs suite and nice kitchen space. Everything clean and comfortable. But just learned that they are soon getting new mattresses and some other upgrades. Only warning—we had heavy suitcases and there are no elevators! But staff was always available to carry things for us. Very pleased with everything.”

“What a place & space!
I walked in, not knowing much about the place, but thought it was a piano bar and was shocked at how friendly the staff was, what a cozy spot it was & and how amazing the art was.. I spent an hour just staring at the art pieces..

Lo and behold I find out that the restaurant is connected to the hotel and the hotel has very competitive pricing to everything else in the city so I can’t wait to try this place next time I’m here!”

“Amazing location. I loved that the TV is tucked away in a piece of furniture. We never used it. Our group enjoyed the bar. Parking is valet only, which is excellent given the location where public parking is difficult.

If you are looking for historic, authentic Sante Fe this is it. If you want a chain hotel with technology, this is not your place. I would recommend this place for a weekend trip into the area.”

“We had a lovely stay here! Shoutout to Wes at the front desk. He delivered outstanding customer service and I was impressed not only by his courtesy and helpfulness to us but to each and every guest I witnessed him interact with.
The regular room we had originally booked were all taken so we got a complimentary upgrade to the casita. It was a very pleasant space to spend the night, with a comfortable bed and jacuzzi tub. The hotel location is convenient to strolling the downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“This opulent gem located in a great location was luxury personified. The staff was courteous and antipatory of our needs. The gym is the best I've ever been to in terms of resorts. It was 7 minutes away from 10000 waves.”
