“Our two night stay was exceptional. One of our nicest hotel stays ever. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room choice included a small patio and the room measured approximately 15 x 22 feet (it felt nice and roomy). The bathroom was clean and the shower provided plenty of hot water and pressure. The property was well kept. Parking was free and adequate. The hotel is a ten minute walk from Santa Fe Plaza. The hotel staff will also give you a free ride to and/or from the Plaza whenever needed. Also, it’s only a three minute walk to the entrance to Canyon Road, a half mile long walkable/driveable street lined on both sides with art studios/galleries. Kudos to the breakfast buffet manager Reyes for the morning experiences. Seating is indoors or out on the lovely shaded patio. The coffee was very good! Daily options included scrambled eggs, oatmeal, breads, yogurts, fruit, sausage, potatoes, and some other items. They rotate the main entree each morning. One morning we had a breakfast casserole (delish!) and the next morning we had French toast. The food was tasty and we only suggest adding bacon into the rotation. After all, who doesn’t love bacon?”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! I came to Santa Fe looking for an escape from Albuquerque, and this hotel met and exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms and outdoor areas are absolutely beautiful, and the owners bring such incredible, welcoming energy.
​Breakfast was a highlight—Carolina was so caring! She sat and chatted with me so I wouldn’t have to eat alone, and our conversation was amazing. On top of that, the food was fresh, light, and healthy. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Thank you for making my trip to Santa Fe extra special. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We've been staying almost yearly at Las Palomas since 2006. Although, we haven't been for the past few years. It's good to be back. My wife and I brought nine friends with us to Santa Fe this time (June 2026) and Las Palomas came through excellently in every way.

In booking our rooms, the staff (Sam), took care to put us all together and around the courtyard in La Tienda section. We received confirmation for each party which made coordination on my part easy.

The rooms have been updated since our last stay (nice touch) while still keeping their Santa Fe charm. Our friends loved each room.

Breakfast (it's changed since last time) is still great with nice selections and well prepared. The other niceties (ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, coffee, tea, games, books, etc.) are an added bonus.

The staff, Sam, Eddy, ladies in the kitchen, everyone, treats you as a family member.

We've always loved the location. Near the Plaza (about four blocks) but not in tourist central. Easy to get out of town as well for your excursions. It's a safe area, too. Some in our party were concerned about safety before we went on our trip. They were happy.

One thing to note, we had two vehicles (11 people). Las Palomas has easy free parking. Remember to include the cost of parking when you're considering Santa Hotels. Parking is a premium downtown.

Overall, Las Palomas makes you feel as though you're staying in your own vacation home with friends (the staff and owner, Neil) who attend to your every need. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful Hacienda and Spa! Fireplace and exquisite artwork in our room. Their shuttle service was top notch as I am disabled and use a walker. The shuttle was wheelchair accessible and the driver was so helpful with city information.”

“Four Kachinas is a beautiful B&B on a side street across from the State House. In addition to 2 rooms in the main building, it has 4 ground level rooms with entry off a hidden central courtyard and each has its own private patio. Breakfast was wonderful and included fruit plus a hot entree and was served in the central breakfast room off the central courtyard. The staff is very pleasant and anxious to please. There are a small fridge and a small freezer for guests to share.

The location is good for walking to the Plaza area and parking is not too plentiful. There is a great smaller grocery store around the corner plus food trucks. There are plenty of shops in the Plaza area and be sure to check out the Native American artists along the front of the Palace of the Governors.

If you are in the Chimayo area, check out the Rancho de Chimayo restaurant. It has great food and has been operated by the same family for 60 years. We ate there after visiting Bandelier Natl Monument.”

“Super friendly staff and hospitable stay!! We were traveling with a newborn and they brought us a pack and play which was very convenient. The room was really nice, climate controlled and quiet, and very spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast, free coffee, and delicious cookies in the afternoon! Super well located close to downtown too. We’d happily return anytime!”

“I love it here. I hear traffic during the day but at night it's quiet. I woke up to the birds singing. The room is perfect. The bathtub is big. There's a mini fridge and a microwave. It's so convenient and just the right size.”

“Pueblo Bonito Inn was beyond beautiful, from the office/lobby area to the rooms. The beds were VERY comfortable and the room layout and decor was stunning. It truly felt like I was immersed in a beautiful Santa Fe stay. The property had many different seating areas outside that were nice and it was beautifully lit with lanterns at night. The location was very walkable to everything too. We were treated with the best hospitality as well, if I could rate it over 5 stars, I would. 100% recommend staying here!”

“We had such a great stay here. Everybody was so friendly. The staff was very accommodating. I even got a text asking me how my day was on day two and if we needed anything. We did need something on two different occasions and our needs were met within 10 minutes. Devon, the hotel manager went out of her way to make sure our needs were met. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Inn and Spa at Loretto. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel truly welcomed. The Living Room Bar staff was incredibly attentive and warm, and the spa team delivered one of the best experiences I’ve ever had—especially Bruce, who gave an outstanding massage I won’t soon forget.

Our room was beautiful, with its own private patio and a stunning view. Be sure to check out the fourth-floor walkout—the unobstructed view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking.

The location couldn’t be better. You’re steps away from great food, unique shops, and gorgeous hiking trails. When you visit, do it all—you won’t regret a thing.

This place is pure magic, and when I return to Santa Fe (and I absolutely will), this is the only place I’ll stay.”

“This is a great place to stay in Santa Fe! The room was very clean and there was no smell at all (best review a hotel room can get!). The service has been AMAZING and I am very comfortable here. I would very much recommend this space to anyone!

“The hotel is decently priced and the room was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable in the shower was nice the TV was a decent size and had access to cable channels. If I come back to Santa Fe I was staying in this hotel again.”

“The location of the hotel is great and they offer a local shuttle if you need it. Free valet parking, snacks, coffee included in the rate. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and quiet. Terrific fitness center. Prices for 4+ star hotels are very high in Santa Fe as is the daily rate here. We had a very pleasant stay.”

“We spent an evening at The Mystic. We had 2 dogs with us so the indiv fees & cleaning charges for dogs added another $80. However, it was a delightful place to stay. It's completely remodeled & clean. We were able to take our dogs to the outdoor patio space which is huge & spent time with them while sipping our beers that we brought. I didn't realize until the next morning that the breakfast was included with our room. The cafe is another beautiful space and the young woman running it was extremely kind & helpful. It's the best breakfast option I 've ever had at a hotel in the US. I've only experienced an included breakfast like it while travelling in Europe. The last item is that there is an automatic gate to the property so it's more secure if you have bikes or things attached to your vehicle.Thank you for a great stay!”

“I enjoyed my 4 day stay here. Clean rooms, great front desk staff and nice amenities. My only negative experience was with the breakfast manager on my last day. My friends and I wanted to have tea at 9:04am. We understood the area closed at 9am but we only wanted hot water. The answer was absolutely no! She said we are closed. However there were other people still eating in the room. So we went to the front desk, where Oscar so kindly gave us some hot water. Now that’s hospitality. As travelers, we appreciate people like Oscar who will go the extra mile to do small things.”

“Room is a bit dated but still comfortable. As of May 2026 they are doing renovations. I can’t say I was bothered by the workers. In fact, all the staff (including those renovating the property) I interacted with were polite and professional.

Location is just right, you’re far away from the tourist area that you’re not paying the premium but close enough it’s only a short drive. They do offer a shuttle service to downtown with set times.

Breakfast can be improved just a bit but it was still one of the better ones on our trip.”

“There are hotels that simply give you a place to sleep, and then there are places that become part of the destination itself. El Rey Court is unquestionably the latter.

From the moment we pulled into the property, we knew we’d found somewhere special. Check-in was effortless after a long day of driving, and every member of the staff we encountered was genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. Their hospitality felt authentic, and by the end of our stay we felt less like guests and more like people they were truly happy to have there.

We were traveling with our two dogs, and El Rey Court is one of the few places that is genuinely dog-friendly—not just “pets allowed.” We never felt like we had to compromise comfort or style because we brought our pups. They were welcomed just as warmly as we were, which made the entire experience feel relaxed and easy.

The property itself is stunning. It captures everything we imagined Santa Fe would be—beautifully designed, effortlessly chic, cozy, and full of character. Every detail feels intentional without ever feeling overdone. It’s stylish and elevated while somehow still feeling incredibly comfortable and homey. It quickly became the kind of place we looked forward to returning to after every adventure around the city.

One of our favorite surprises was the food truck. It was so much more than “hotel food”—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Pair that with the incredible mocktails from the bar (some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere), and El Rey offers an experience that rivals much larger luxury resorts. We found ourselves looking forward to winding down on the property each evening just as much as we looked forward to exploring Santa Fe during the day.

What impressed us most wasn’t just the beautiful design or the exceptional food and drinks—it was the feeling the property creates. It invites you to slow down. To wander the grounds, linger by the fire, sip another mocktail, and simply enjoy where you are. It’s rare to find a hotel that’s as photogenic as it is comfortable, but El Rey Court manages to be both.

There are hotels you enjoy, and then there are places you can’t stop thinking about after you leave. El Rey Court is absolutely the latter. It ended up being one of our favorite parts of our entire trip. We were genuinely sad to check out and were already talking about our next visit before we even left the parking lot.

If you’re looking for a hotel that’s beautiful, welcoming, genuinely pet-friendly, full of thoughtful touches, and staffed by people who truly care about creating a memorable experience, book El Rey Court. It wasn’t simply where we stayed in Santa Fe—it became one of the reasons we fell in love with Santa Fe.

“What can I say other than WOW!!! I have never stayed at a hotel with better service in my life. Impeccable. Every single employee was kind, gracious and hospitable. The hotel is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to all the great restaurants, churches, shops and the town square. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was extremely comfortable. Could not recommend this hotel higher. An A+ experience.”

“The bowling lanes at Cities of Gold Casino have become a weekly rendezvous for some friends and I. The staff are friendly and helpful providing a comfortable place to play a few games.”

“Very clean, lovely lobby, bar and restaurant. Very convenient location near downtown amenities. I was able to walk to restaurants and shopping. There's a beautiful pool and hot tub area on the second floor and a workout area with sauna on I believe the 4th floor.”

“My stay was exactly what I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express and Suites - clean room, good night sleep, hot breakfast, and hot coffee. Nothing spectacular, but it hit all the marks.

My major complaints are how the room is set up - everything seems like it was designed to maximize the number of hotel rooms in the building, not with the guest's experience in mind. For example, the bathroom in the suite that sleeps six - you can't open the bathroom door if someone is at the sink and you can't step out of the tub if someone is at the sink. Also why is the soap dispenser for the sink on the bathroom wall at my shoulder and I'm 6 feet tall? On the plus side, adjoining rooms (appears to be 2 sets of rooms per floor) and laundry are available (1 washer and 1 dryer for $3.50 to wash and $0.75 to dry).”

“What to say? The Vanessi felt like a hidden gem. A perfect little B&B tucked into a cute pocket of Santa Fe with fun restaurants, coffee and attractions all within a quick walk.

We splurged for a premium suite during our cross country move along the Historic Route 66, and it did not disappoint.

The room was very large, featuring a sun room and private patio. A perfect pet friendly stop. Our cat has hated every hotel along the way, but she loved our patio at the Vanessi.

Some of my favorite features: beautiful hotel, super pleasant bathroom with large tub, and the multiple dimmers made everything extra comfortable for my wife. Huge deal if you suffer from chronic migraines like my wife.

About the breakfast... It was great! The eggs were particularly good and all of the fruit was so fresh! My only very minor note... would be to put the bacon in a totally separate area from the pancakes. Cross contamination was a little concerning, especially since all of the serving utensils sat together for that whole area, dyo people were grabbing pancakes and bacon with the same tongs. But they did have ample GF options and again it's a very small critique.

Although we only had a day and a half in Santa Fe, we really got to make the best of it in part thanks to the Vanessi. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you and for the excellent dinner recommendation!”
