I change this review to four stars because after several months of coming in, the staff decided to give me my money back!
They even called me to let me know.
I really appreciate this and hope this shifts there policy by adding some nuances to the policy. Thank you so much everyone.
Criminal return policy imho. I bought an expensive pair of pants with cash many months ago. I tried them on there and they seemed tight, but I adored the style and the attendants encouraged me with compliments. Anyway, not blaming them for that but really I convinced myself all was good. The transaction was at 5:30pm: As soon as I got home and tried them on for my husband, he said they were tight and asked if I could bend in them. I couldn't. So as soon as the store was open the next morning on my way in to go to work, I brought them back.
She REFUSED to refund me, and instead gave me a store credit.
I was peeved, but accepted it as I think the store has cute things.
(I am NOT rolling in the dough. I bought this for a very special occasion so was willing to pay the high price for designer clothes.)
After a few more visits, it began to dawn on me that this store is primarily curated for men, and almost no new inventory choices for women's clothing. I got discouraged and asked again about getting my money back. The same woman, BTW, said nope! She did offer to ask the owner for more inventory for women and PROMISED to contact me when things came in.
I have been back 4 times and since my purchase on 2/6/2026, have been out $550.55!!
*Remember, I purchased on 2/5/2026 at 5:30pm, and brought the item back IMMEDIATELY on 2/6/2026 at 11am.

“I would shop here again , as I walked in Rafael Valdez had top tier customer service by saying hello to me and asking if there’s anything needed . Then he was able to help me find the item I was looking for and also give me information about another item that wasn’t available at journeys anymore. Other places barely seem to have people that are happy to work or know what an item is without a picture. The attention to detail and service skills really shows an appreciation for his craft , I am very impressed by the quality of the store as well. 10/10 experience I have already told family members to buy from him at this location. Many places in the Santa fe place mall are very terrible with customer service and have you waiting for a very long time just to tell you they don’t have the size. God bless this location and Rafael , there will be much success in the future with this type of service.”

She was very attentive to our individual styles and was able to pick out items for each of us that suited our tastes. She made both of us feel so beautiful! “Last fall I purchased a beautiful handmade sterling silver necklace from Karina on Canyon. The salesperson was delightful and very helpful, and I was given a printed bio of the artist who made the necklace, further enhancing my appreciation of the detailed work involved. Unfortunately, about a month ago it came apart somehow (didn’t break) and I reached out to Karina on Canyon for help. I spoke with Jean, who was extremely apologetic and asked me to send the necklace to them for repair by the artist who was also in Santa Fe. Before returning the repaired necklace to me, Jean called to offer to reimburse me for my shipping costs, which was not expected but appreciated. I now have the repaired necklace, polished and ready to wear, as well as a check covering my costs. The whole process was so friendly and professional, and demonstrated what a great store Karina on Canyon proved to be. They have gorgeous jewelry and stellar customer service as well.”

“Angelo and Iliana were absolute treasures in my shopping experience! They were so helpful and delightful in the purchasing of my boots and power suit.
I loved my boots so much I wore them to the wedding I was in town for, and got so many compliments. I told my friends to go to Maverick’s!
And so then two of my Poser friends Liz & Carly went and got the same boots, and now we all have best friend boots;)
I love them and the suede fringe suit of my dreams.

“This store is a gem! And if you know or are looking for hard to find, fine leather goods (Henry Beguelin, Officine Creative etc), this is your store! It's unassuming from the front and while charming, doesn't make the treasures inside obvious, even to the experienced accessories shopper. Had I known about it, before my girl's weekend trip to Santa Fe and Canyon Road, it would have been a planned, hours long destination must. Regrettably, I didn't have enough time there. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, without any pressure. I intend to be a regular. The store is chock full but laid out beautifully with gorgeous bags, boots, shoes, scarves/wraps, jewelry... hanging on walls, stacked on easy to see shelves and in perfectly eye level cases. It invites touching, smelling, feeling and delights the senses in the way truly exquisite leather goods do. Plan on giving this store its due, time wise. To rush through or miss it would be a shopping tragedy, trust me. I was incredibly impressed. This store rivals leather goods shops you would find in Aspen, New York and Italy. It is truly special.”

“A block length large shop with two entrances on two streets. They've many beautiful jewelries.
It was Memorial Day weekend and the store wasn't busy. A salesman originally from New Jersey was patient, explaining different grades of turquoises, and the artists they represent. I've a pendant by Navajo Steve Yellowhorse (1954-) who started his jew when he was 3 years old (1957)! He knew him but doesn't represent him.

“Very good experience buying news skiis, boots and bindings from Alpine. Most of all I want to give Daniel a big shout out for the excellent service he gave to me. My first day out in my new boots and skis did not go well A return visit to the store resolved the issue. Daniel gave me his undivided attention to adjust my boot fit. He listened extremely well and made the effort to get the issue resolved. After Daniel’s service, the boots felt great and the skis handled well.”

I visited The Running Hub and the young man who waited on me spent a great deal of time analyzing my problem. He discovered I had been incorrectly sized. He recommended another pair of shoes and an insole. Problem solved and happy feet! Highly recommend!”
