“This store is a gem! And if you know or are looking for hard to find, fine leather goods (Henry Beguelin, Officine Creative etc), this is your store! It's unassuming from the front and while charming, doesn't make the treasures inside obvious, even to the experienced accessories shopper. Had I known about it, before my girl's weekend trip to Santa Fe and Canyon Road, it would have been a planned, hours long destination must. Regrettably, I didn't have enough time there. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, without any pressure. I intend to be a regular. The store is chock full but laid out beautifully with gorgeous bags, boots, shoes, scarves/wraps, jewelry... hanging on walls, stacked on easy to see shelves and in perfectly eye level cases. It invites touching, smelling, feeling and delights the senses in the way truly exquisite leather goods do. Plan on giving this store its due, time wise. To rush through or miss it would be a shopping tragedy, trust me. I was incredibly impressed. This store rivals leather goods shops you would find in Aspen, New York and Italy. It is truly special.”

“It's not readily apparent from the modest outside of Back At The Ranch what a truly incredibly large selection of high quality men's, women's and children's boots they offer in an array of colors, styles and leathers. You can either choose from an attractive selection in their three showrooms or custom-order exactly what you are looking for. Ann was amazingly helpful in trying on different boots to find the best look and feel. I fell in love with the pictured fine ostrich leather boots.”

“Stopped by to get shoes of a brand recommended by my podiatrist. The saleswoman cheerfully spent about an hour trying to find a pair of shoes to fit my very long, narrow feet. When we decided they didn’t have anything that would work, she called their other branch store and told me what sizes and models she thought I needed to find. She was obviously interested in seeing that I got the right shoes even if I didn’t buy them there. They’ll get my business again!”

“My daughters and I popped into this Famous Footwear on President's Day, 2024. While my girls found some styles that they liked, they didn't have the sizes available. That's the main reason we knocked a star off. It was mostly organized, but there were some shoes misplaced. We picked up a few pairs for my growing grade schoolers. Also, I was sold on the BOGO Adidas sock promo because they were thick and ankle-cut. Highly recommend that you join their "Famously You Rewards" program especially if you have a family. It's free. Members currently are offered "$5 reward cash for every 100 points" plus they get free shipping with no minimum purchase. It's located in a nice plaza in Santa Fe, NM with plenty of parking, but the spaces are tight.”

Mario spent extra time with me and my sister explaining all the different types of turquoise, the different types of silver work and showing us all the different artists that do the most beautiful jewelry work. He was able to send my personal bracelet off to be repaired and had it back to me before I left town. We had a great time shopping at his gallery! He was also shipped our purchases that we to large to fly home with us at no charge. I feel like we have made a friend in Santa Fe and will definitely be back.
