“A hidden gem in Taos!
From the moment we arrived at Willa Taos, we knew we had picked something special. The property is absolutely stunning – room is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a perfect blend of Southwestern charm and modern luxury. It feels more like staying in a stylish friend’s home than a typical hotel.
What really sets Willa apart are the incredible facilities you simply don’t find at most boutique properties in the area: the private sauna, outdoor hot tubs with views, and cozy fire pits. These little touches elevated the entire experience to another level.
We booked through Capital One Travel as part of the Premier Collection. There was a small hiccup with the final billing, but both the Willa Taos team and Capital One’s customer service went above and beyond to resolve it quickly and even issued a refund without any hassle. Their responsiveness and genuine care turned what could have been frustrating into a complete peace of mind.. That kind of responsive, caring service is rare these days and made us feel genuinely valued.
Everything from the warm welcome to the spotless rooms and outstanding amenities was top-notch. We can’t wait to come back (probably in winter to enjoy that sauna after a day of skiing!). Highly recommend Willa Taos to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and uniquely Taos experience.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable!”
“We went to see the museum and didn't stay in any of the rooms. However, based on a tour of the premises, we are sure the rooms are fantastic.
The complementary coffee, tea, cookies and muffins are a great treat. Great to hang out in the patio with some refreshments.
Definitely worth a visit ??”

“We had a great experience staying at the casitas! It was perfect for my partner & I! Jim & Nancy were both great hosts!!
Safety: The location is safe & quiet!
Walkability: Just a short walk to the plaza!
Food and drinks: Super close to the plaza!”
“We come up to Taos every few months or so , and we always stay at the Taos inn. We love it! The rooms are beautiful, clean, and well priced, and the location is fantastic. We love being able to easily walk everywhere. The courtyards in the outer buildings are absolutely lovely. The TVs in the rooms have streaming service, which we appreciate. It's definitely a romantic place for a couple to stay.
Some notes: If yous stay in the main building, the live music on weekends can be loud. It wouldn't be a great place to be if you have young children who need to sleep early. However, the outer buildings are very nice and very quiet, so maybe request a room there. The water pressure in the showers in the outer buildings is really not great, but it's functional enough. The bar closes kind of early (but that's also very normal for Taos).
Overall, we love it here!”

“The first time here, I live in Connecticut, and we live on different schedules. In Tais breakfast is at 7 am, bar opens at 4 pm. That would not cut it here. But staff a d food is incredible.”

“We decided to stop in just to see what we would find, and loved the selection! We really appreciated how we were welcomed in, was told about the sale, and then didn’t feel rushed to buy something and leave. We were able to take our time deciding on what piece we were getting and looked around at some other things too. Thank you!”

“I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed! The grounds are absolutely beautiful—a perfect blend of elegance and tranquility that really adds to the experience. From the moment I arrived, the valet was incredibly friendly and helpful, setting a welcoming tone that continued throughout my stay.
The rooms were gorgeous and spacious, providing both comfort and style. It feel like a luxurious home away from home. One highlight was the bar—when I couldn’t decide on a drink, the bartender crafted an exceptional cocktail that was perfectly suited to my taste.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. I can’t wait to go back.”
“This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Taos World Mark. The counter staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The location in Taos is fantastic, and Taos itself is a great location to ramble throughout northwestern New Mexico. This stay there was a small issue with the comfort of the Murphy bed in my studio suite, but Kirstin (the manager) graciously worked through all available options and secured a memory foam mattress topper that immediately resolved my issue with back pain. I sincerely can’t say enough about the positive energy the staff puts into this location, and the impact it has on the quality of the stay. 10/5 stars.”

“Consistent with Taos spirit, it is very clean, has a welcoming atmosphere, refreshingly smoke-free (which it apparently always has been), and the food is surprisingly inexpensive for the deliciousness, quality, and quantity. The staff are polite, friendly, and attentive. The beverages are complimentary hot cocoa, coffee, bottled water, and fountain drinks. They have numerous promotions that easily rival the other casinos. The table games are computerized. Given its remoteness, I am glad for the lack of alcoholic drinks since most people have to drive. A very spirit-lifting and positive casino, I rate it full stars and worth the journey. They are open 10am to 10pm, 5 days a week, then 10am to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Also, I nearly always get ahead at some point during a visit. They have a good mix of machines old and new, strategically placed so that all are easily accessed by folks with limited mobility. I highly recommend you visit if you are ever in the Taos area.”
“Room was clean, rustic. I expected this. The fireplace was awesome at night. We had wood delivered and very relaxing. This is the first time I have been to Taos.
Home of my ancestors.
We loved Cristal at the front desk.
She made sure we were welcome and took care of our needs.
Without Cristal the staff and management would be lacking professionalism and welcoming attitude.
Food and drinks: Food was great. ENTERTAINMENT Fabulous we will be back.”

“Great location, Rooms are really nice and cozy. Breakfast is good, lot of options. Only problem was internet. I stay here twice and on second time and same thing happened. I ask front desk if any specific area where WiFi work better but been told it should work in all room. Well not in my room. If you don’t need internet then this place is great.
Safety: I don’t find any safety issue.
Walkability: This place is located at the center of Taos and everything within walking distance. There is taco truck outside motel, Chinese restaurant on next building. Walmart is 5 minutes away.
Food and drinks: Many restaurant within walking distance”
“Our group had a great stay at the El Pueblo Lodge with three rooms. El Pueblo is time warp back to the heyday of roadside motels, and amazingly it has been very well maintained over the years. Welcoming staff. The rooms are large, comfortable, colorful and even have working fireplaces. Toss in some cornhole and horseshoes and a great breakfast and this is a great place to stay.”
