“This place might be in-the-middle-of-nowhere, but they literally have everything. It is located at the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns National Park and a good 30 minute drive from the city of Carlsbad. They have a motel and an RV park across the street, which I didn't visit. There are gas pumps. There is a small grocery and a laundry. And, opening at 11am, they have a US Post Office! Their souvenir shop has literally everything and at a MUCH cheaper price than the shops in the park. I couldn't bring myself to purchase a $32 t-shirt in the park. Here, they have a whole wall for just $5 per! Great for buying souvenir gifts for friends! I was extremely happy I decided to stop here!”
