“Absolutely LOVE this location. Staff is so pleasant. I leave smiling every time I go. It is clean and the product placement looks great. The cash wrap area is never a mess either. “I went to SUNY Albany from 1989-1993. Like a lot of guys in my generation at that time, I had my ear pierced (I mean, I still do), and one day I went into Romeo’s to buy myself another earring. I’m not sure if I got myself a gold hoop or a silver hoop back then. Whichever I got, I am sure I still have it, packed away in my Trunk of Precious Things. (Don’t you have one of those?) I currently wear a silver hoop that I remember getting somewhere else, but I’m sure the Romeo’s one is in that trunk.
I’m writing this review right now because I was doing some Google Map tourism, which is a favorite pastime of mine, and decided to check on the memory of Romeo’s. I am thrilled and pleased that after all this time, Romeo’s is still in business there on Lark Street. I wish I could say the same about The Blue White Rainbow, which was on the other side of the street, and also had lots of cool stuff.

“I love this place. I try to come here every couple of months and something is new and different every time! There are so many things to look at. The jewelry here is beautiful and I’ve gotten some really fantastic pieces. Nothing is over priced which is hard to come by now a days. This store is such a staple to Albany, and Elissa is so kind and caring.”

“Good Dollar Store especially around Christmas time they have the absolute best selection of gift bags anywhere all different sizes and they are absolutely beautiful they put other stores to shame even Hallmark on their gift bags.”
“This store was a treat to walk into. There was a myriad of unique gift items, housewares, unique art, wonderful hand crafted chocolates that one fantasizes about.
Everything was set apart to see how to display the works,, if going to a new home.

“For a relatively small store, it's amazing how much interesting (to me anyway) stuff there is in here. When I first walked, in, I thought it was mostly for kids, but as I strolled around, I was amazed in a good way at the inventory here, including an assortment of smaller games (card, dice, social, party, etc), "grumpy old people" themed socks, a variety of interesting books, and more. There's a lot of things here which I don't necessarily need but are still calling out for some of my discretionary income. I have quite a few friends who would also definitely enjoy coming here when they visit me.”
