Motel 6 Albany NY - Airport presents a mixed experience for guests, with strong opinions on both sides. Several reviews highlight positive aspects, describing the motel as clean, reasonably priced, and a great value. The front desk staff is frequently praised as great, excellent, nice, and helpful, making check-in easy. The safety of the parking lot is noted due to the presence of many cameras. The location is considered convenient, with stores and restaurants within walking distance. However, significant criticisms are also common. Multiple guests report issues with cleanliness, describing some rooms as filthy, with dirty windows, curtains, walls, tubs, and floors. Maintenance problems are cited, including broken fixtures, malfunctioning appliances, and windows that do not close properly. Noise can be an issue, particularly from long-term residents, disturbing sleep. While some housekeeping is commended for being amazing, other cleaning practices are questioned, with reports of inadequate supplies. A major point of contention involves management, with one guest reporting an unhelpful response from the owner regarding complaints. Experiences vary widely, from very positive stays to others where guests would not return.
Our bed literally broke in half while we were sleeping on it. The bed frame was made out of chip board. I don’t suggest staying here unless you really need to save money / have to. We were looking for a pet friendly place that didn’t break the bank. We survived. It’s sketchy.

Needed a clean safe place with pups. Owner had food recommendations. Exactly as advertised

The room smelled strong of chemicals, not sure what they were masking. Bathroom door was falling off because screws were pulling out. Tub and shower were gross. Beds and pillows were fine. $100 for this room is about $70 too much.
