“I enjoyed staying here. The hotel is clean and accommodating. The food was good. The staff were all very friendly, professional, polite, and attentive. We utilized the super convenient and free shuttle service. I very much recommend using thr shuttle service.
There seemed to be a high level of attention to detail ingrained in their work culture. I think the excellent service is what made my experience so great. I very much appreciated the protien smoothies on the breakfast menu from Mr. D's. I wish more hotels offered them. The bar is very updated, with highly attentive bartenders. The atmosphere is very quaint, which makes the vibe unique and fun. I loved the koi pond, the inside courtyards, fountains, and live plants throughout the facility. The hotel is close to the train station, Albany Airport, and the capital building.”
“my husband and i are from here. we are married on 5/18, and each year pay homage to our favorite place and time by visiting a historical establishment in the area. we stayed at the argus motel last night and it was nothing short of an incredible experience. the grounds are beautiful, the staff are very personable and friendly, and our bed was super comfy. the room was so clean and we really enjoyed the butler kitchen breakfast. thank you for everything!”

“This is a gem. If you’re a person doing business in Albany for any length of time, you’re in great hands there. Would highly recommend. It really is a home away from home. We stay there when we visit our son who is a student in Albany.
The building(s) are lovely looking at the park.
If you’re looking for a state of the art modern hotel this may not be for you. But if you appreciate history and charm you will be in heaven. It’s a little quirky, but for me it makes it even more attractive and interesting.
The staff couldn’t be more friendly, helpful and pleasant. Truly outstanding.
One of our favorite things about the inn is that
there is a delightful garden court yard. We’ve used it at night when celebrating milestones. Nights we’ll never forget.
The parking can be a little tricky due to the city’s laws, but a minor inconvenience considering all the wonderful attributes.
Frankly, it is just a lot of fun to be there!”

“Stayed for 3 nights. Beds are comfortable. Staff was friendly and my room was very clean. Young housekeeper women blonde hair I forget her name was very thoughtful made sure I had whatever amenities/ service that was needed. Thankyou!”

“Convenient location, in Colonie village, minutes away from Albany. Easy access to the hotel. Bus stop to downtown outside the hotel. Rooms of convenient size, with comfortable beds. Coffee maker in the rooms. Breakfast basic but enjoyable 😉”

“Room we secured on line was not cleaned when we arrived. Bed was unmade, looked like someone was still occupying the room. It was the only king left so we were given a double queen instead. This motel is nothing fancy but was a good spot and good value for the money.”
“I pay $70 dollars for couple two bed room and in this way 35 dollars per person it's reliable and in this price i got a good room and thank I asked front desk about upgrading and they upgrad my room free of cost over all my experience was great”
