Staff was rude when first trying to check in. As noted by pictures place is serious need of renovation and one section knocked down. Breakfast was bread for toasting and cold cereal

I read more than 20 reviews on Google Maps for hotels in this price range, and finally settled on Howard Johnson because it has the highest ratings. I was relieved to find the positive reviews to be true after checking in. Fast, efficient and courteous check in, clean room, decent location. No bedbugs.
