“Went here to mail off two packages. The lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful in helping me decide on which envelope to mail my items in. Along with explaining to me the different shipping rates. Also the trip was quick, there was no line.”
“The gentleman that has been there for years is carrying this post office on his back!! He’s the nicest person I have ever encountered that works at a post office. Usually these people are rude and disgusting for no reason. I forgot his name but he is a light skinned black man. I ship packages at least 10 times a week and I specifically stand and wait for him. He should train these incoming employees so they can see how to treat people. Give him a raise immediately!”
“I have a PO Box at this location, and was expecting a package. However, the tracking info was giving me a different PO location.
I went to the window and had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Javier Velazquez. Mr. Velazquez listened and explain to me in detail the process, why I was receiving a different PO location. He checked my info and retrieved my package. I left the PO with my package (I thought it lost).
Mr. Velazquez wasn't nasty and didn't have an attitude. He was very helpful and informative.

“I had to come do a review because folks tend to review only with bad experiences and not good ones. I come to this post office because it's close to us, closes at 3 on Saturdays, and the folks behind the desk are so helpful and nice. Never have had an issue and I've had service by different personnel. I like this over any other post office in Rockland... especially palisades mall where one person in particular is rude and miserable.”
“All these people complaining maybe the ones who don’t pay their bills. Never had problem here. Yes they can get busy and things maybe slightly delayed but not terribly. Yes everyone double parks at every business on Gramatan Avenue not in owners control. If you are using this as a business address then pay your business bills. Once again folks not supporting black business.”

“Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”
“I had a nice experience at the main Scarsdale post office today, Monday October 23rd. The kind clerk helped me out in processing an in-person change of address request. The clerks helped me out with a smile and it was a plus that there was no line and ample street parking!”

“I'm fascinated by the amount of negative reviews. This is a post office that is consistently OPEN extended hours because all other nearby branches close earlier. They work hard and efficiently and there's always 2 people working (well at least every time I go).

“I do not think I've ever encountered a U.S. postal service with 5 stars. I was curious and in the area so visited this location, and was impressed. It's in a cute area, across the street from a cafe. The post office was clean, and not busy whatsoever. Also, the mail clerk who helped me was kind, helpful, and professional. Definitely recommend this post office if you are in the area and in need of shipping.”

“I find the people that work the windows to be unfailingly polite, helpful and efficient. The USPS has been starved for funds for ages now so if you're unhappy with this post office, write your congressman and advocate for better funding - don't blame the people who do the best they can with outdated equipment, office space etc.”
“This is the best post office because of Justin. A couple of the other reps are nice, But Justin goes out of his way to be pleasant, efficient, friendly and best of all, knows his customers by name. I love it. I love how he greets his customers. It makes all the difference.”
“Looks like all of the 1-star reviews are regarding passports. Weekday afternoon the Asian gentleman George was perfectly delightful and pleasant with handling my prepaid mail. So all is well with normal postal business. I suppose go elsewhere for passport making.”

“Gregory is the gem of this post office. Patient, accommodating and just overall a nice person. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars here is because every time I come in, only 1 person is working the front and there is always a line. If they could adjust that, I think the reviews here would drastically improve.”
